[COMPLETED] Kidnapped!

Chapter 14

- "We have visitors today." - Sowon, their main cook, announced. - "Sana, would you mind bringing these dishes to the dining room please?"

- "Sure." - Sana nodded and proceeded to do as Sowon said. When she arrived at her destination, there were already several people sitting there. Them being GD and a beautiful woman - probably in her late twenties - sitting at the head of the table, a middle aged couple on their left side then Jungkook and a young, pretty girl on their right. Though, for whatever reason, she could notice the obvious dark expression on Jungkook's face straight away.

- "Here is the entrée." - She set the dishes down in front of each guest then politely asked. - "Would you like anything else?"

- "Coffee." - It was Jungkook.

Sana went to the server bar cart, took the pre-prepared coffee carafe and approached him. Carefully, she poured the content into his cup... when all of the sudden, a strong pull at the hem of her dress startled her and thus, made her spill coffee on Jungkook's clothes instead.

- "WHAT THE F*CK?" - He angrily stood up.

- "I'm so..."

- "Do you know how much this costs? How are you planning to pay this back huh?" - Jungkook held her wrist tightly. - "Come. I need to speak to Jaehyun about this."

And with that, he dragged her out of the room.

- "Finally some fresh air!" - Jungkook breathed a sigh of relief.

- "Um..." - She lowered her head. - "Sorry for spilling coffee on you, I really didn't mean to. I'll do my best to pay back for your suit."
Looking at her guilt-ridden expression, Jungkook couldn't help but laugh. As expected, the poor girl was still clueless.

- "Don't worry. It's just an act to escape from that hell." - He chuckled. - "Seriously, I almost died of boredom back there."

It took Sana a few seconds to fully process what he just said. She couldn't believe he just used her to fool everyone like that! But then again...

- "Your hand is burnt." - She lifted his left hand for closer inspection. - "I'll help you treat it."

- "Huh?" - Jungkook glanced at the red patch on his hand. - "This is nothing..."

- "Let me."

Noticing how stern her voice was, Jungkook knew he should agree if he wanted the girl to stop feeling guilty.

- "Alright."

Sana sat on the edge of his bed, the first aid kit box right next to her. Taking the sterile bottle out, she then proceeded to gently wash and cover his burn with bandages. She was careful so that it wouldn't sting too much.

Meanwhile, Jungkook used this chance to observe Sana's concentrating face up close. He couldn't help but admire her beautiful features, from her straight, lovely nose to her beautiful eyes and the long lashes shadowing them. Not to mention her little pink, pouty lips. He still remembered how soft and sweet they felt against his own last time. The sudden urge to possess them again made him unconsciously inched nearer.

- "There, all done." - Sana gave his nicely bandaged hand a light pat and looked up... only to met with his intense stare, so close that their noses were almost touching.

- "Um...I'll get going now."
She got to her feet, bowed and left the room swiftly. This once, Jungkook didn't stop her because he knew he wouldn't be able to control himself if she was to stay.

And it wasn't the right time nor place.

Finally, the day arrived. The very excited Yerin waited for Sana's shift to end then called a cab for them. Prior to entering, Yerin dragged the clueless girl to the washroom to change.

- "Aren't you going to put some makeup on?" - Yerin asked as she fixed her mascara. - "Oh and I can help you do your hair if you want~"

- "I'm fine. Thank you." - Sana replied with a soft smile. She didn't feel the need to dress up. After all, she's only there as a server isn't she?

- "Well, if you say so~" - Yerin returned her tools back to the pouch then linked arms with Sana. - "Let's go!"

The two then made their ways inside. Sana was taken aback by the fancy settings. When she accepted Yerin's request, Sana wasn't aware that they'd actually go to the royal castle. Upon settling down, they were assigned to serve in two different sections. Sana listened to the instructions carefully then proceeded to carry the cocktail tray to the guests. As the girl stood there holding the drinks, she took the chance to observe her surroundings. The spacious hall was filled with people dressing in flashy gowns and suits. Also, the decorations and everything seemed extravagantly expensive, even much more luxurious than the elite party Nayeon invited her to last time. Speaking of which, Sana couldn't help but feel quite out of place with her basic uniform, bare face and plain ponytail. Not that it bothered her much though. These kinds of places have never been her cup of tea anyway.

Suddenly, Yerin rushed towards Sana, a look of panic evident on her face.

- "We have to go now. Eunbi just called and said that there's a surprise check back at the Jeon mansion and we'll get into trouble if we're not present." - She said in hushed whisper. - " I'll go fetch us a ride. Meet me at the back."

Sana nodded. Though a bit dumbfounded by the knowledge that they were there without permission, she knew there was no time to waste. After putting the tray on the nearby table, Sana quickly found her way through the crowd to follow Yerin. However, as soon as she reached the garden outside, Sana tripped over her own feet and would have fell face-first if it wasn't for the pair of arms that caught her just in time. With the person's arms encircling her waist to support her weight, she could literally felt the heat radiating from his body because of their close proximity. Flustered, Sana instantly tried to stand up but ended up falling over again due to her broken shoe straps.

Only this time, her lips accidentally landed on the stranger's.
