Jake and I have no more classes for the rest of the day so it was pretty boring I also had no classes with my bestie. The bell finally rang and I got up quickly to leave.
Teacher- mrs. Costell could you stay behind
I turned around and sighed
Erika- yeah what's up
Teacher- you have missed quite a bit of school and I am a part of the school board so this something I take care of
Erika- yeah sorry a lot of stuff has been going on
Teacher- anyone besides the girl we suspended
Erika- you suspended her
Teacher- we have no tolerance for bullying
Erika- oh ok
Teacher- so is anything going on at home
Erika- no
He looked at me and I smiled
Teacher- ok you may leave
Erika- thank you
I smiled and walked out that was so awkward. I had to stop by my locker to grab a few things as I saw Alissa walk down the other hall. For a girl who is suspended she sure is at school a lot. I shrugged it off and started off walk outside so Jake could take me to his house.
Logan- yo wait up Erika
Logan came running down the hall Logan and I had become pretty close friends since I have been at their house all the time.
Erika- hey Logan
Logan- are you coming home with us today
I nodded as we walked outside
Logan- what do you want to do today
Erika- I have sooo much homework you don't even know
He started laughing and so did I Alissa walked past us and smiled at me.
Logan- what's up with her did you guys makeup or whatever
I was shocked why did she smile at me like we have been best friends for years All I could let out was a soft answer.
Erika- no
Logan- well don't worry about it
I nodded and we walked to the car I could tell Jake was about to leave which I thought was as odd.
Erika- I thought you were taking me to your house today
Jake- your not coming to my house anymore
Erika- what why is your mom not ok with it
Jake- no she's fine with in fact she loves you
Erika- then what's the problem
Jake- you I don't want you hanging around me anymore
Erika- Jake this isn't a funny joke
Jake- it's not a joke stay away from me
He got into the car and left his words were ringing in my ears every time I was hurt or needed someone he was there and now I didn't know what to do.
