Logan wipes my tears and helps me up and just smiles. We sit in the hall together until Pam makes her way out of jakes room.
Pam- oh Erika honey in didn't know you were here
Erika- can can I see him I say between sniffles
She looked at me like she wouldn't do it for anyone else.
Pam- of course
I walk into his room he had a few cuts and bruises and I am told he has a broken rib but he still looked selfless and strong just laying there. Sit in the chair to him and pick up his hand. He wakes up and turns to me.
Jake- hey Erika
I smile as tear rolls down my face, he moves his hand to wipe my tear
Erika- you really scared me there
Jake- thee Erika Costell was crying over me
I laughed and looked at him
Erika- I'm sorry im sorry I texted you you wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you this is all my fault
Jake- hey hey it's not your fault some guy didn't see the red light and ran into me he's fine and I think I am to I mean your here
Erika- can i stay with you tonight
Jake- yeah
Erika- when do you go home
Jake- idk your the first person I've talked to
Erika- oh do you want your mom
Jake- your enough
I smiled
Jakes scoots over and motions me to sit down by him. I sit down and turn to look at him he try's to pull me down not using much strength. I lay down next our bodies overlapping because the hospital beds are so small.
Jake- Erika
Erika-hmm
I saw so tired from how late it was and how I was as crying.
Jake- I love you
My eyes shut up as he stared into my eyes.
Jake- you don't have to say anything right now
I smiled as we both fell asleep
