Jake- he should be fine now we can talk to him in the morning
I nodded as he got back into bed and we laid back down I knew he was going to ask so I have finally just told him.
Erika- my mom was an alcoholic he swore he would never drink
Jake nodded looking at me
Jake- thanks for telling me
Erika- yeah
Jake- I have practice tomorrow morning
Erika- can I come
Jake- of course
We soon fell asleep
I woke up with jakes head on my chest I slowly slipped off his bed and took a quick shower. I put on some shorts and a crop too I brought a hoodie to Incase it got cold well I brought jakes hoodie.
I then walked over to the bed and ran my finger through jakes hair
Erika- wake up
I yelled in his ear
He jumped up and looked at me
And I started laughing
He picked me up and threw me on the bed
Jake- whats so funny now
Erika- that was still funny
Jake fell on top of me
Erika- Jake we're going to be late,Jake get up
Jake- no you smell good
Erika- Jake
Jake- fine
He got up and I threw him a shirt as we walked out the door Jake changed real quick and we drove to the school.
Jake walked over to my door and opened it for me
Erika- thanks
He nodded as I helped grab his gear
Jake- I got
Erika- it's ok I always help
Jake- not with a broken arm
Erika- I'll be fine I want to
Jake- ok
I grabbed his stuff as we walked to the field
I saw the guys warming up and smiled at them.
Coach- warm up Paul
Jake- I got to go bye babe
Erika- good luck
I gave him a kiss and he ran onto the field
I sat up on the bleachers going through my phone
Coach- good job guys let's go on break
Jake ran over to me as I got his water bottle out of his bag and threw it at him. Jake drank about half of it.
Jake- thanks
He passed it back to me and I put it in his bag as he sat next to me.
Erika- you did really good out there
Jake- thanks, hows the arms
Erika- it's good
Just then Cody ran over to us I could tell by the way Jake rolled his eyes
Cody- you broke your arm
Jake- what else does it look like
I looked over at Jake and put my hand on his leg to calm him down
Erika- yeah I fell off the roof
I said laughing
Cody-I hope you feel better
Erika- thanks
Jake- I'm nervous for the game tonight
Erika- don't worry I'll be there
Jake smiled at me
Erika- go get out here and practice
Jake- breaks not over yet none of the guys are out there
Erika- so
Jake smiled at me
Jake- that's why I love you
He kissed me on the forehead and ran down he bleachers to the field. And started practicing over and over again I was proud of him. I saw the couch come out of his little office and watch Jake. I knew he was impressed. I walked down the bleachers and Jake ran over to me.
Jake- where are you going
Erika- I'm just going to get some food I'll be back soon
Jake- ok
Erika- good luck
I got into jakes car and drove to this cafe and picked up a couple of breakfast sandwiches and paid for them.
I started to walk out and saw Logan
Erika- hey Logan
Logan- what's up
Erika- nothing just getting food for Jake and I
Logan nodded
Erika- well I'll catch up with you later
I heard Jake yelling before I even walked into the field. I ran onto the field and saw Jake yelling at Cody while they were throwing punches I put my stuff in a pile on the side and ran towards them. Jake coach was yelling at them and I could tell nothing was working
Jake- say it again say it I dare
Jakes face was red
I ran up to him
Erika- Jake Jake look at me
Jake turned to look at me like I said and I saw Cody try to throw a punch while he jake was caught of guard. I grabbed his hand and held it behind his back.
Erika- are we done boys
They were all shocked and so was I sure I worked out everyday it must of been that I took Cody by surprise because I really wasn't that strong
I stood in between them both catching my breath
I turned to look at Jake and saw the cut on the side of his face and his bruised knuckles with blood all over them I shook my head and felt bad for him at the same time.
Erika- coach I'm taking Jake home
Coach- good idea Cody get your butt in my office I deal with you later Jake
I grabbed my stuff and walked to the car with Jake. They car ride was long and quiet until we got to jakes house.
Erika- is your mom home
Jake shook is head
I walked inside and got the stuff he used the time Hayden came at him. I sat on the counter
Erika- come here
I said motioning him to come over first
Erika- go take a shower so the cuts clean and then I'll bandage you up
Jake- ok
He said laughing
Jake came down stairs with shorts his hair was still wet from his shower
I sat on the counter and bandaged him up.
