I was walking out of the school building when Jake texted me
Jake- can I walk with you Logan took the car
I laughed knowing that's something they would do to each other
Erika- lol of course
Jake- where are you
Erika- just the front
Jake- ok
I waited outside for Jake as he neared the door
Erika- poor jakey got left at school
Jake- whatever
I was still laughing and so was he as we started walking
Jake- so what are you doing for Christmas
Erika- idk I think my dad has to go on another business trip and Hayden is going to Vegas to hangout with his friends so I'll probably be alone
Jake- your going to be alone on Christmas
Erika- yeah but I'll be fine I'll watch a bunch of hallmark movies
We both laughed as we turned the corner
Jake- your not going to be alone
I laughed
Erika- where else am I gonna go
Jake- stay with Logan and I my mom will be there and my dad might come
Erika- no you really don't have to do that you should be alone with your family
Jake- no really you should come
Erika- are you sure we should probably ask your mom
Jake- yes I want you with me
Jake- come on let's go
Before I could even register what we were doing Jake was holding my hand and we were running to his house. As we slowed down I caught my breath before we walked inside.
Erika- seriously Jake idk how your that fast
Jake laughed
Jake- come on my moms home today
Erika- ok
As we walked in i saw jakes mom cooking and Logan playing video games on the couch.
Jake- you remember Erika mom
Jakes mom- of course
I smiled at Logan while Jake "introduced me" although we have already met. Logan got up and walked up joining the conversation
Logan- what's poppin
Jake- is it cool if Erika spends Christmas with us
