A/N: Sorry for the slow updates. I also apologise for this chapter as it isn't very good but I just wanted to post something. Have an amazing day!
A few days had passed after the emotional ordeal between Edmund and Sasha. Edmund kept a close eye on Sasha and he ordered guards to also watch Annabella, incase she planned on doing anything harmful towards Sasha.
Edmund sensed that Annabella was planning something, he doesn't know what the Lady is capable of which therefore gives him some anxiety. He doesn't want anything bad to happen, Hell will break loose if she disrupts the peace in Narnia.
When it came to lunch all the Pevensie siblings were sat in their usual places. "Pete, please listen" Edmund pleaded as he looked towards his brother who had an annoyed look on his face.
"Ed, can't you hear yourself? You are worried that Lady Annabella is going to cause problems in Narnia" Peter replied with a shake of his head.
"You's all seen what she did to Sasha the other day. She also threatened me the other day too" Edmund spoke looking between all of his siblings.
"Edmund" Susan broke in softly. Edmund looked at her with a slight frown. "I'm not saying you're wrong because the way she spoke to you and Sasha was horrendous but do you not think the reason why your getting so defensive is because you have grown close to Sasha" Susan finished.
Edmund sat staring at her. Yes he has grown close to Sasha but he doesn't think that's what Susan is trying to imply. He opened his mouth to speak but the doors were beginning to open so Edmund stopped what he was going to say.
In came Sasha with Arkin by her side. She made her way over to the empty seat beside Edmund and sat there.
"Hey" she chimed. Edmund noticed that she seemed way happier after getting all that stuff off of her chest.
The siblings said hello back before the room going silent.
Sasha looked at everyone. "I feel like I've just interrupted something" she breathed an awkward laugh.
"Not at all" Lucy said with a smile. "I've been speaking with Kirk recently-" Lucy began but then she was interrupted.
"Kirk?" Peter tilted his head in suspicion.
"Yes, you know Kirk Braxton"
"Yes, I know who he is. Why have you been talking to him?" Peter asked with a firm tone.
A smile played on Sasha's lips as she looked at Lucy. She had an unsure expression, like she didn't know what to say but she tried to look casual. Sasha then looked to Edmund who had a frown on his face with one eyebrow cocked as he stared at his little sister. Sasha tried to hide her smile when she looked at Susan, who also had a slight smile on her face as she watched her brothers interrogate Lucy.
"Is she not allowed to speak to whoever she wants?" Sasha asked as she leaned forward to look at Peter.
"Well, y-yes of course she can" he stuttered. "But I'm just concerned because we don't really know Kirk" Peter then said protectively.
"Well, I'm getting to know him because I speak to him. He's a very nice person" Lucy said. "Anyway, as I was saying," she said while giving a look to peter. "Kirk thought it would be a good idea for him to get to know his future brother-in-laws and for Susan and I to get to know our future sister-in-law" Lucy smiled as she looked hopeful at her siblings.
"And what exactly are we meant to do with him?" Edmund asked with a cocked eyebrow and Peter nodded.
"I don't know, boy things. Have a friendly spar or go hunting." Lucy said before looking at Sasha. "Your more than welcome to join us" she said politely.
Sasha's eyes widened before she looked at Edmund and then back to Lucy. "I'm not too sure that would be a good idea, Lucy." Sasha said unsure.
"I promise, the second she steps out of line you can leave." Lucy's voice was soft and pleasant. Sasha looked at her for a moment before looking to Edmund for reassurance, she didn't know why she felt like she needed to look to Edmund. Perhaps it's because she's connected with him the most, which seems weird as he was so cold towards her when they first met.
Edmund had a small frown on his face, as if he disapproved this idea. However, he didn't nod nor shake his head as he didn't control Sasha. This was her choice.
Sasha then looked to Lucy and hesitantly nodded.

After lunch Edmund caught up with Susan and spoke with her privately."I don't approve of Sasha being near Annabella. I don't trust Annabella whatsoever." Edmund whispered incase there were Telmarine soldiers nearby.
"Look, ed. I know you are looking out for sash-" Susan began but Edmund interrupted.
"Yes I am looking out for her. I made a promise to her that I wouldn't let anyone harm her and I am more than certain that Annabella is a threat. A threat to not just Sasha but to all of us" Edmund whispered harshly. "Please Susan. Don't ignore me like Peter does." Edmund's voice softened and he stared at Susan with pleading eyes.
"I'm not too fond with Lady Annabella either but I can't do anything about it" Susan said with a sigh. Edmund rubbed his face and also sighed. "We can't do anything until she does something wrong. I'll keep watch on her, she won't do anything to Sasha." Susan tried to reassure him.
Just then Arkin came round the corner. "Sorry to interrupt, your majesties. Miss Sasha said that she has a sword fighting lesson with King Edmund" Arkin stated.
Edmund nodded and as he walked with Arkin he took one last look at Susan giving her a nod to of which she returned.
