Loud sounds of laughter erupted in the practice room as Sasha ran away from Edmund who was trying to catch her.

She won yet another round of the spar they've been having for hours. Sasha's ego grew larger and larger with each round she won and Edmund has had enough of it.

Sasha eventually fell to the floor as she was laughing too hard. Her laughter brought a soothing warmth to Edmund's chest. He smiled playfully as he plopped himself beside her, laughing along with her.

Her laughter slowly died down as she looked at Edmund. "Are you sure you're the best swordsman in all of Narnia?" She asked with a cheeky smile.

Edmund raised his eyebrows in a playfully shocked way. He cocked his head to the side slightly and shook his head, "I let you win."

She playfully pushed him, a small giggle escaping her mouth. "You're telling me that the Edmund who said that it's not a fair fight if you go easy on the opponent is the same Edmund telling me right now that you let me win?"

"Well, I was different back then. You changed me." His voice was much more calmer and softer as he looked at Sasha.

She leaned in closer and brought her mouth up to his ear. Edmund's heart raced at the close proximity. "You mean back when I first bet you at a sword fight?" She whispered smugly. Edmund didn't even need to look at her to know she and a cocky smirk on her face.

He suddenly pulled her towards him and begin to lightly pinch her sides causing her to bark out a loud laugh.

"How many times have I got to tell you?" He laughed as she fell on her side from him tickling her. "That spar didn't count because you didn't use a sword."

She was about to retort back with a smug remark but he tickled her in an exceptionally ticklish spot which caused her to burst out in loud laughter. She tried to push him away but he just laughed at her more as he continued to tickle her sides.

"It's good to see that you are alive, Sasha." The sudden voice caused Edmund and Sasha to stop. Their once happy expressions falling immediately after seeing Lady Annabella standing in the doorway of the practice hall.

Sasha and Edmund rose to their feet and Sasha nodded. "Yes, it's good to be alive." Edmund watched Annabella carefully as she began to take slow steps towards the two.

"It was a very intense time when waiting to see if you would awake or not. My guards made sure to get that beast off of you." Annabella spoke in a sympathetic tone before stopping just 3 feat away from them.

"Your guards?" Sasha questioned before taking a quick glance at Edmund.

"Both Narnian's and Telmarines were ordered to help you." Edmund said as he corrected Lady Annabella.

"Yes, well the Telmarines focused on making sure the beast was unable to get back up. Speaking of him, have you paid the attacker a visit yet?" Annabella asked in a tone that Sasha couldn't detect. It's as if she was trying to sound sincere but couldn't help but mock her at the same time.

"No, I haven't went near Arkin. I was planning to soon." Sasha answered as she pushed the thought of her friend trying to kill her out of her mind.

Edmund slowly moved closer to Sasha. He didn't trust what Annabella was planning on doing so he made sure that Sasha was close to him so he could protect her.

"If I were you I wouldn't even bother going to see him. He seemed to make it quite clear what his intentions were to do. For your safety of course, I suggest it's logical that you don't go to see him." Annabella's voice was soft and kind. She pretended to look out for Sasha which only made Edmund more uneasy.

"Oh. Alright then. Thank you, I'll consider what you've said." Sasha smiled kindly with a quick nod.

A slight smile grew on her face as she nodded back. "No problem. I shall see you both around." And with that she had left the practice room.

Sasha started at the doorway making sure Lady Annabella was actually gone. "I need to see Arkin, Edmund." She said quickly.

"I was thinking the same thing." Edmund replied as he took Sasha's arm both of them walking out of the practice hall.

"I know she isn't looking out for me, I just know it. Something is up." Sasha whispered incase her guards or Annabella is not far away.

"I agree. Now let's hear what Arkin has to say to you." Edmund spoke as they both quickened their pace to go see Arkin in the dungeons.
