The first kill was easy, just like the rest of them would be. That's one of the reasons why Edmund loved night raids the best, everyone is off-guard and tired. Making the mission slightly easier, and a higher chance of getting Sasha back. Everything was about stealth, they had a plan, a well-thought out plan and as long as everyone stuck to it, it can not go wrong.

Edmund hunched down on the gryphon, clutching the handle of his sword and holding the strap of the crossbow that was sling over his shoulder. He watched as the mice took out the guards at the entrance gate, he looked round and noticed there wasn't many guards on watch, perfect! They definitely aren't expecting anything. Satisfied that the plan was going well, Edmund signalled the gryphon to fly on to one of the towers where Edmund will enter and make his way down to the dungeons, where Sasha will most likely be.

Peter and Susan, along with more Narnian soldiers, stayed in ground, awaiting for the gate to open. Susan examined the castle, her bow and arrow tightly in her grasp. She leaned over to peter, a slight concerned look on her face. "It's awfully quiet, Pete. I don't feel good about this."

Peter was also examining the grounds. He agreed with a nod. "I know. Stay on guard, this may go wrong. Stay close to the exit at all times, don't venture too far." He said loud enough for all soldiers to hear.

The gate began to lift, a few guards rushing towards it. "Don't make too much noise. Stay together." Peter chanted as they made their way to the gate, drawing their swords as they ran towards the enemy.

Edmund ran down a spiral of stairs, his crossbow on hand and raised, ready to kill anyone who gets in his way. It was ever so quiet, which was nothing but bliss for Edmund. He only encountered half a dozen guards, slowing him down a bit but Edmund was still close to the dungeons. He continued down the staircase at a fast pace, the only thing on his mind is saving Sasha.

Once he got near the dungeon, he began to slow down, making himself quiet as he stealthily crouched down, peering round the corner to see a few guards on 'watch' but what they really were doing was lounging about.

Edmund drew his crossbow, steadily aiming it at the guards before pulling the trigger.

Susan let go of her arrow after she has aimed it perfectly at a telmarines head, he went down immediately. There was probably a dozen or so telmarines, and the lack of numbers continued to worry Susan. She rushed to Peter just as he had just finished piercing a telmarine with his sword.

"Peter, we need to go. It's too easy, annabella has planned something I know it." Susan blurted out distressingly.

"I know, but we can't leave without Ed. You know he won't leave until he's got Sasha."

"Then tell everyone to retreat, we'll go find Ed. This is going to end in a blood bath, I know it."

Peter looked to the ground, weighing out the options, trying to make the decision to leave his brother behind or stay and face possible death.

"Sasha!" Edmund loudly whispered as he searched around the dungeons.

"Ed." A weak voice was heard from the end of the dungeon. He rushed over to see Sasha, frail and terrified.

Edmund brought over the keys from one of the guards and unlocked Sasha from the cell. He ran towards her, engulfing her in a hug. Quiet sobs escaped her mouth.

"Are you oka-"

"You have to go now! You need to find Arkin and get out. It was a trap, Ed. She led you hear, it's what she wants. Get out! Before she kills you!" Sasha sobbed as she pushed Edmund away.

Edmunds heart crumbled, panic arose within him. "I-I can't leave you here." He breathed.

"You can And you will. You are not dying for me, I won't be able to live with that," her lip began to tremble, "please leave, Ed. While you still can. Find arkin and go!" She cried as she pushed him away again. He held her instead.

"I-I-ugh," Edmund tried to tell her, he did but he couldn't. "I'm not leaving you, we're getting out together." He dragged her to her feet and encouraged her to run. "We'll come back for arkin I promise, but we need to get you out of here first." Edmund rasped as he gripped into her hand tighter.

They sprinted up the steps, all the way to the top where they will meet the gryphon but when they reached the top, it wasn't the gryphon who they were met with.

"Oh dear, Sasha." Annabella tsked, "slight change in plans. Take them down to the throne room, blindfold them and restrain them. Don't I have a treat for you."
