A/N: Another very late update which I apologise greatly for. I have exams this month and I'm currently focusing on them. This part is a little on the small side but it's a nice fluffy one:) I'm not the best at writing really happy things (weird I know) but I tried my best:)) I hope you have a good day:)

What's more perfect than hearing the soft melody of bird song on a sunny cloudless day? Or walking around a beautiful garden with all sorts of different coloured flowers, where butterflies land on them and bees buzz around them?

Not many people could come up with a more peaceful and beautiful sight.

Edmund could, however.

The sight before him at this very moment, a healthy and happy girl whose smile shone brighter than the sun. That's what Edmund's vision of perfection was. Sasha made him forget about the beautiful garden that they walked around and the beautiful song the birds were singing. He was dazed by Sasha's own beauty. Relieved of her speedy recovery after taking a full days rest after she had awoken.

She didn't talk much after she regained consciousness but the second she made eye contact with Edmund after she woke up, she smiled at him. Once she done that, Edmunds heart flipped and he immediately smiled back, thankful that she was okay.

"Ah, it's such a nice day." Sasha smiled as she turned her attention from the sky to Edmund. She was shocked when she seen his attention was only on her, a content smile on his face as he nodded.

"It is. We can go back inside whenever you want though, I don't want you to get tired or-"

"Edmund. I'm fine, stop worrying too much." She smiled with a soft chuckle.

There's his heart doing that backflip thing again. He tried to contain his feelings, the last thing he wanted was Sasha to notice him blushing or anything. She'd tease him about it.

He let out a smile in return and looked down to his feet. "I'm sorry, I'm just," his smile faltered slightly as he looked at her again. "I'm just relieved you're alive. I hated seeing the state you were in. I couldn't even help you." He frowned as he thought back to how lifeless she looked.

"You being by my side was enough help."

A smile grew on his face as he looked down at a flower and began to lightly graze his fingers over the petals. "I couldn't leave you, Sasha. You don't understand how difficult it was to see you like that." He muttered while still playing with the flower petals.

Little did Edmund know that Sasha actually did know what he went through. It broke her heart to see how upset he was.

She looked down at the flower he was distracting himself with and reached her hand out to it, intentionally placing her hand on top of Edmund's. The small contact caused a jolt of electricity to run through both their bodies.

Edmund slowly looked back up to Sasha, a flustered look on his face both of them becoming shy.

Sasha took a small and gentle step towards him. "I know what it's like to lose someone you care about and even though you probably don't care about me as much as losing a sibling. I just want you to know that I understand what you went through."

Edmund smiled as he boldly interlocked their hands and brought his free one to place on the side of her face. His smile grew softer as she leaned more into his hand.

"I do care about you." He said meeting her eyes. "I care about you a lot" his voice changed to a soft whisper.

In that moment, the bird song seemed to stop and the buzzing from the bees froze as if time had frozen itself. In that moment, it was just Edmund and Sasha.

Both of their eyes drifted from each other's gazes to their lips. Edmund finally made the move to lean in, closing his eyes as their lips met for the first time.

It was just how Edmund imagined it, if not better. It just felt so right. Both of them sunk into the soft kiss. Sasha let go of his hand so she could wrap her arms around his neck. Edmund's hand then settled comfortably in the middle of her back where he gently pulled her closer to him.

His heart fluttered when she smiled into the kiss. She gently pulled away and rested her forehead on his. Both slightly breathless.

"I care about you a lot too." She whispered softly before placing her head in the crook of his neck, hugging him.

He hugged her back and breathed out a laugh. "Of course you do, who wouldn't?" He joked before yelping soon after as Sasha had nipped the skin under his arm.

"Don't ruin the moment." She laughed as she looked at him. They were both laughing when suddenly Edmund decided to quickly kiss her cheek.

"I'm sorry. Let me make it up to you." He smiled smugly.

Sasha cocked her eyebrow as brought her hand up to the back of his head and started playing with his hair. "And how will you do that?"

"Care to join me in a spar?"
