A great rush of excitement and relief filled the youngest queens emotions as she ran towards the infirmary.

She could barely contain her happiness when Edmund barged into the lounge area, shouting that Sasha was alive with the brightest smile on his face. He didn't even wait for his siblings reactions before sprinting back out of the room to return back to the infirmary.

Lucy and her two older siblings gleamed with joy as they stood up immediately. Peter told Lucy to go on ahead as him and Susan have to inform guards about Sasha's awakening. For safety precautions.

Lucy didn't think twice before dashing out of the room, making her way to the infirmary as fast as she could.

She was took by surprise as she collided with another body. "Oh, please forgive me," Lucy immediately apologised. Her eyes widened at the gracious sight of Lady Annabella causing her to bow and apologise again. "I'm sorry, Lady Annabella."

The pretty woman straightened up and put on a bright smile. "No worries, your majesty. I should've been looking where I was going, the fault is mine. What is the rush anyways?" She asked curiously.

"Sasha has awoken. She's alive and well!" The young queen shrieked with excitement. Lucy wanted to run off and leave Lady Annabella. She wanted to sprint to Sasha and envelope her in a bone crushing hug but she knew that would be rude to just leave. So, being the polite queen that she is, she patiently waited.

Lady Annabella's head cocked to the side slighted. Her eye twitching. She smiled brightly to try conceal her anger. "Well," she clapped her hands together in delight. "You best go see her. I send my love" she spoke softly, trying not to cringe at her own words.

"Thank you" the young queen gleamed before running off down the hall.

Lady Annabella's smile fell immediately once Lucy had turned her back and a frown was replaced instead. She clenched her fists, digging her nails into the palm of her hands and slightly bared her teeth. Not even attempting to hide her anger, she stormed down the corridors. All the way down to the Dungeons.

She stopped in front of Arkin's cell and glared at him through the bars. He was fast asleep, an uncomfortable and frightened look etched onto his face as he stirred in his sleep. Lady Annabella almost smiled at his discomfort.

She shook the bars causing a loud rattling sound. "Get up!" She spat as she shook the bars one more time before taking a step back.

Startled by the sudden noise, Arkin awoke with a jump. The frightened look never leaving his face, in fact, he became even more frightened when he seen who his visiter was.

The raging look on the Lady's face and her clenched fists didn't go unnoticed by Arkin. Despite the poorly lit room and Arkin's exhaustion, Annabella's fury was as clear as day. It made him want to tremble and whimper but he won't. He still has some pride left. He's still the King's soldier.

"I told you to kill that barbarian" her voice was low and cold, practically coming out as a growl.

"I-I basically did, Miss. She's in critical condition and I heard that Queen Lucy's cordial isn't even working-"

"She's awake!" Annabella snarled cutting the wolf off completely. "She's alive and breathing. My orders were for her to be dead" she took a step closer towards Arkin's cell and he was thankful for the bars that separated them. But even with the cell bars blocking her from hurting him, he still didn't feel safe.
