A/N: Here's a new part:) I hope you are liking the story so far even though it's early days. I'm going to write some more after this. I hope you're having an amazing day!
Sasha stared at herself in the mirror, she never ever wore dresses, they weren't her thing.
But here she is wearing a dark blue dress with silver diamonds spread across the top half. She found that it was a bit too low at the chest bit, too low for her liking but the rest were just the same so she just had to deal with it. She braided her brown hair in a side braid, which is all she could do with her hair at the moment as she couldn't find a brush to do anything else.
Her attention turned to the three knocks that came from her door. She opened it and a smiling Queen Lucy stood on the other side with Arkin sitting beside her.
"Would you still like to join us for breakfast?" Lucy asked with a grin and she somehow smiled even more when Sasha nodded.
Lucy hooked her arm with Sasha's as they walked to a great room with a long table in the middle of it. There, already sat, was the other siblings. Sasha began to feel slightly nervous as Lucy lead her to a seat between her and Queen Susan.
As Sasha took her seat between Lucy and Susan she looked around the giant room. Why does the table have to be this big when usually only four people eat at it?
"So Sasha, sitting across from you is Edmund, he's a bit of a grump so don't be offended if he doesn't speak to you" this earned Susan a nasty glare from Edmund. "And that leaves Peter" she said pointing to the older brother who was sitting next to Edmund. Peter smiled at Sasha who returned.
A stack of toast was placed in front of them all from one of the cooks, Sasha slowly took a piece.
"What is it you do in your world?" Peter asked as he buttered a slice of toast for himself.
"I'm 17 so I'm still in school however I do have a small job as a waitress" Answered Sasha as peter nodded as he took a bite out of his toast.
"And what about your family? Are you's close?" Susan asked and just for the tiniest moment Sasha showed worry and fear in her eyes, nobody noticed though, nobody except for Edmund. He tilted his head slightly as he watched the girl speak.
"We are close but I wish we were closer, they work all the time you see so I don't get to spend much time with them" Sasha answered before taking a drink of water. Edmund narrowed his eyes on her before taking some toast for himself. "But all that is not important" Sasha added making eye contact with Edmund for a few moments before she looked away.
"We are having a party tonight to welcome a Lord and Lady and their two children from Telmar Castle." Susan began turning to Sasha. "You can come if you like, Lucy and I will help you get ready and you won't be alone someone will be with you all night" Susan explained.
"Why do I need someone with me?" Frowned Sasha as she thought she was capable of being alone.
"The Telmarine guards aren't exactly the... friendliest. They wouldn't dare touch you in an inappropriate way but they are known for being violent. It would be safer for everyone if nobody was alone" Susan explained further which made Sasha frown deeper.
"Way to make her feel less worried" Edmund scoffed to his older sister.
"I'm not worried" Sasha spoke as she looked at the young King.
"Really? Because if you knew what they were like you'd say differently" Edmund replied a rude tone lacing his voice.
"I'm more than capable of looking after myself" Sasha glared at Edmund as he frowned at her.
