Chapter 4

The drive to Holmes Chapel was quite long. All I did was sleep, listen to music and text on my iPhone. I will miss my friends, especially Hannah. I texted her now.

'Heey, how's it going?? Miss you already!;)xxx' She texted.

'Hmm yeah it's okay in the car right now, missing u too see ya soon :* xxx'

With that, the car suddenly stopped. I'm guessing we're here. It does look pretty big. Well bigger than our old house at least. The outside walls of the house are a creamy white and I spotted a big balcony at the back.. if that's a room, I'm having it.

"So, do you like it?" My mum questioned us both.

"Love it! Thanks mum." We both yelled together.

"Good, because I have some surprises in your rooms, hope you like them. I'm sorry Harper, Piper gets the room with the balcony, but your room is the the one with open floor windows"

"Ohh YAAY" Harper yelled at the top of her voice. She likes those kind of windows , she thinks she is Juliet like in the Romeo and Juliet love story. She absolutely loves that.

Me and Harper ran out of the car, hand in hand to the front door. Mum unlocked the door into what's called home. I'm actually pretty excited about this. Leading a new life. I won't forget the old one, all the memories with my dad I will cherish forever.

I ran upstairs and looked for the room with the balcony.

I am left awestruck.

The room was bigger than my old one. It had a bathroom, the same size as my old one, but with purple tiles instead of green and blue. The walls of my room were a creamy white, the wooden, polished floor is mostly covered up with a thick, purple carpet under my toms. I took my toms off , the feel of the carpet tingling my feet. The double open floor windows have see through purple silk curtains, leading out onto the balcony. We're on the brink of rich, were not loaded but we have enough money. Life insurance.... stop thinking about it...

I heard a van pull up on the other side of the house, must be the removal men. Took their time. I heard one of them say something like 'We had to get something to eat' Lazy asses or what?

I suddenly heard a door opening and someone creeping along next doors balcony. I turned around to see a curly haired boy with bright green orbs. He is hot! Just saying...

"Hello......"
