-Author's Note-

So after a while of procrastinating and not updating my other fanfics, I finally decided to start a new one. I thought that if I started something fresh, it would help me overcome my writer's block and get some new inspiration. I wanted to write a Chanyeol fanfic but also wanted to write a zombie apocalypse one. So I combined the two. I hope you enjoy!

Warning: There will probably be graphic gore and violence, all part of the apocalypse package. Maybe some smut. If you get easily triggered then don't read it but you can vote if you want.

You stare at the ticket in your hand. You can't believe it. EXO coming to London. You thought that them coming to Europe was impossible, but now they're coming to a city just a few train rides away from you. You were going to go with friends but the London tickets had sold out before they could buy any. You even managed to get a seat right near the stage, you'll be sitting right in front of your favourite boy k-pop group. And in front of your bias... Chanyeol. The screech of rails forces your focus to reality. This is your stop. Slipping your concert ticket carefully into your EXO backpack, you stand by the doors and waited for them to open. A hectic journey through large crowds of people ensued. You have to get to the underground when you reach London Then it's a taxi drive to the O2 stadium. Unfortunately for you, the underground is particularly busy today and you only barely got to your train on time. You manage to find a seat between a sleeping old man and a pregnant lady. The feeling of awkwardness starts to creep in as it always does in crowded spaces. Luckily, the train ride is fairly quick and soon enough, you're out and walking up the steps out of that wretched underground.

The polluted and slightly thick air of London greets you like an old friend. It's a little chilly but you only brought a hoodie because you thought it would get very hot at the concert and you didn't want to carry around a large coat. A constant stream of people walk past you, not even glancing at you. They're all so lost in what they're doing or where they're going. Spotting a taxi heading towards you, you wave to it. The taxi slows down and stops in front of you. The driver is a fairly old man, maybe in his 50's, with bright blue eyes and darkish grey hair.

"O2 Arena, please." The driver nods and you slide into the back seat.

"You're the third person I've picked up who's going there." He chuckles. "All of them wearing clothes and bags with that symbol on it." You glance at the EXO symbol on your backpack.

"Oh yeah, they're going to the EXO concert."

"EXO? Never heard of them before."

"They're a Korean Pop group." You laugh, slightly embarrassed.

"Ah, I recall my granddaughter talking about a group like that... Something about BTS. No clue who they are." His eyes are fixed on the road as he talks.

"I've heard of them. Their music is good, but I like EXO better. Anyway, how long is it till we get there?" You feel a little rude for asking that.

"Eager to see them are we? Should be another 10 minutes or so. You're a bit young to be travelling through London on your own eh?" You tense up slightly.

"I'm 24...  And I've come up here plenty of times. I can handle myself."

"Okay, okay. I believe you." The driver stays quiet for a little while after that, until you drive past a large, grey building with two police cars parked outside. You stare at it curiously.

"I wonder what happened." You mumble.

"I wouldn't be surprised if it was something bad. That private lab is nasty business. There are rumours that they're experimenting on humans in there, something about trying to increase the human lifespan." He then starts muttering things that you can't make out. The nagging sense of danger soon disappears as the taxi slows down. Peering out of the window, you can see the arena. It's massive and brightly lit. Hundreds of ecstatic fans wait outside, buzzing and shouting in excitement. "That will be £7.50, miss." You gladly hand over the money and exit the taxi, thanking the driver as you close the door.

To make the struggle to get in less of a burden, they let the fans in group by group. The people with premium tickets get to cut the line and go in first. Thankfully, you had paid a little extra for premium. You walk up to the ticket booth. A young man stands there, dressed smartly but looking a little stressed.

"I have premium." You state, showing the ticket. He takes it and scans it to check the authenticity.

"Alright, go through the door to the left and follow the signs to the seating area." He smiles at you and hands your ticket back.

"Thanks." You say quickly and hurry through the doors. It's a little walk to the main hall but once you get in there, the whole atmosphere feels different. It's exciting and refreshing. Hundreds of premium fans had already entered an were seated, chatting loudly. Checking your ticket, you walk through rows and rows of plastic chairs. After a while, you manage to find your seat. It took a while because it was actually closer to the stage than you initially thought. Sitting down, you take off your backpack and place it on the floor between your feet. The room quickly fills up. Hundreds become thousands. You find yourself sandwiched between two groups of friends who are all wearing fan shirts and hoodies. You do feel a little alone without your fellow EXO-L friends.

You notice them pulling out their EXO light sticks which reminds you of the one in your bag. It's the latest version, the one that connects and matches with the lights in the concert. Scanning the ticket with your phone, you connect your light stick and it starts to glow white just like everyone else's. The room suddenly goes dark and screams of excitement fill the air. The glows from light sticks dance around like fireflies. Voices in the darkness fill the room.

"Hello London!" They shout, all with an accent which you instantly recognise as Korean. The fans scream. "Are you ready for The War?" They ask, voices mysterious and sexy. Their English is surprisingly good. They must have practised their English a lot for this.

"Yes!" You cry along with the thousands of other fans.

"3, 2, 1 let the battle begin!" Golden lights shoot from the floor as the music starts blaring from all around you. You quickly recognise it as KokoBop. Every light stick in the room flashes gold. Golden spotlights beam down upon each member one by one. Sehun, Baekhyun, Kai, Lay, Suho, Xiumin, Chen, D.O and last of all... Chanyeol.
