"Maybe we should stay here for the night." Chanyeol suggests as you throw a towel at him.
"What about the others?" You grab a second towel and wrap it around yourself. "Oh!" Suddenly remembering that they need to know that you're actually alive, you grab your phone and text Baekhyun.
(y/n): Found Chanyeol, we're at the house.
"I just... Don't think I can face them yet." He ruffles his hair with the towel. "Plus, I don't think the rain's gonna clear up anytime soon." Peeking through the thick blankets that cover the windows, you know that Chanyeol's right. The ominous clouds are pelting the houses and streets with rain, covering the world in a blanket of darkness. It's barely even the evening and yet it feels like it's already night.
"Alright, I'll tell Baekhyun."
(y/n): Seems a bit risky going outside right now. Probably gonna stay the night here.
"I'm going to get some dry clothes. I don't know if I have anything that will fit you, but I'll try to find something." Eyeing his large figure, you can't help but notice the way his wet shirt seems to stick to every line of his muscles.
"Okay." He grins, draping his towel over his shoulders as if he's just finished a workout. Shaking your head, you go upstairs, shuddering slightly as you pass the door where you were grabbed the other day. You look through your wardrobe, trying to find some decent clothing. If you're going to spend the night there then you might as well go for something comfortable. You end up picking some leggings and a hoodie. Once you've changed, you look for something that will fit Chanyeol. All of your shirts are way too small so you grab an oversized hoodie and some sweatpants. They look quite baggy on you but they'll probably look normal on him. You grab the pile of clothes and head back downstairs. It sounds like the TV is on. You open the door to find Chanyeol sitting on the edge of the sofa, watching the screen intently. "The airports have been shut down."
"I guess they're trying to contain it." You're surprised that the news channels are still running.
"It's the only channel that works." He sighs as if he can read your mind.
"I brought you some clothes. I think they'll fit." Chucking the pile at him, you walk over to the table to check your phone. You have a missed call from Baekhyun, so you call him back. He picks up instantly.
"Thank god, I got worried when you didn't call for a while. Is Chanyeol okay?" He asks worriedly.
"Yeah, he's feeling a bit better, but I think he just needs some time." You glance at Chanyeol. He's obviously listening, but his eyes are still fixated on the TV screen.
"Good, I think we all need some time to think. I talked to Suho, he's calmed down a lot. I hope we can work things out tomorrow."
"Me too. The weather should be better, we'll probably be able to leave in the morning."
"Alright, call me if anything happens. Stay safe."
"You too. Bye." You hang up and place your phone on the table, making a mental note to find a charger later. As you turn around, you catch Chanyeol in the process of taking his shirt off. You feel your cheeks heat up but you can't seem to look away. Wow, that's a lot of muscle.
"Enjoying the view?" Chanyeol raises an eyebrow.
"Uh- No, I just-" Your mouth is unable to string together a sentence as you quickly turn away in embarrassment, hoping that you're not blushing as much as you think you are. Even after the rustling of clothing stops, you're not sure whether to turn around or not.
"Got you!" Chanyeol whispers from behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist. "So, what do you wanna eat?"
"I don't know... The vegetables should still be okay, so maybe something with those?" You turn in his arms and look up at him.
