"Tring ....."

"Trr...."

I didn't wait for the 2nd ring of my alarm to wake me up, because I was awake in an instant. At 6:30 in the morning this sort of enthusiasm may not be possible daily. But today is not another typical day. It's the first day of college. The first step towards my dream, my goal.

I shifted my view from alarm to the other side to look at my best friend sleeping peacefully. Last night, we were so excited that we kept on chattering about meaningless things .We are usually like this, talking about anything to everything. Well, yesterday we were a bit over enthusiastic and had a late night conversation till the early morning barely having sleep of 3 hours.

I tried to wake her up but she didn't flinch a bit. So, decided against it because my best friend, Ravvs Parker, is anything but heavy sleeper. Even an atomic explosion next door can't wake her up and I'm not even exaggerating. Leaving her to sleep for some more time, I went to the washroom to finish my morning chores. After 30min I was ready wearing a pair of blue jeans and matching it with my favourite black shirt.I don't want to mess up my already messy hair, so I have put it in a high pony tail.I also wore light makeup which consists of eyeliner and lipgloss.

I checked my phone and realized that I spent 1 hour in getting ready. I then proceeded to do the hardest work ever known to humans – waking Ravvs up.Suddenly my brain has given me a brilliant idea. I took my phone and played the fast beat song and literally kept it on her ear.

''AA............h! I'm going to die, OH MY GOD!"

After coming to her senses she realized what's happening. I was laughing so hard until there were tears in my eyes because of her reaction.

"MISS AADHYA GUPTA! I'll give you 2sec to run away. I swear if I catch you, you will regret your action. Runnnnn".

She needn't tell me twice. I sprinted away with Ravvs trailing behind.I made a mistake by looking backwards; she was really angry.Uh-oh. I'm in trouble.

After our chase, in which she finally caught me and I used my best puppy dog look to manipulate her, she realized it's not the time for our tom & jerry fight.

She finally started getting ready simultaneously cursing every universe because she didn't have enough time to make her look beautiful.I started preparing breakfast .I was craving for Indian food ,So, I prepared dosa with chutney and sambar.I don't have to worry about Ravvs not liking it. She loves Indian food.I finished setting up the table by the time she got ready .She wore black jeans with red t-shirt.

''Oh my God Aadhya. You are the sweetest person ever.I loveee dosa."

She dragged the 'Love' word to prove her point. I rolled my eyes at that and we started on satisfying our stomach.

"Come on Ravvs you look beautiful. You don't need a touch up", I told her for the nth time.

"Just 5 more minutes ", she pouted.

''If you start about your lipstick not being perfect shade as you imagined again, I'll kill you."

"Come on let's go", I started dragging her with me.

"Finee...", She huffed like 5year child.I swear her maturity level is worse than 2nd graders.

After 15min of walk we reached the college.
