Mr.Not-So-Perfect

Chapter 12

"STOP".

No, that sound did not come from me. "What happened?", Advay's girl friend stopped in her tracks and looked at us.

"Um not that we don't appreciate you dragging us or something but who are you?", Ravvs enquired looking at her with a deadly stare. 

"Sorry, I did not introduce myself. I'm Shailaja but you can call me Shailu", she introduced herself enthusiastically.   

"Oh-kay. And?", Ravvs encouraged her to continue.

"And now, let's go to my room to help Aadhya change into some warm clothes", Shailaja said dragging me again.

I know she asked us to call her Shailu. But I refuse to do that. If I call her anything other than Shailaja it would imply that we were close. I don't want her close to me in any way possible.

."Hey, I'm not finished when I said 'and' I meant 'how do u know us?' not to start dragging us again?", Ravvs huffed.

"Oh, while I was going to my class Advay stopped and said about your situation. So I came, happy? Come on, let's go, I don't want Aadhya to be sick", Shailaja said looking at me with concern.

"So you are Advay's girlfriend?", Ravvs said unbelievingly, almost like she could not believe he has a girlfriend. Yeah Ravvs, look can be deceiving. Advay is not as good as he appears to be.

"You ask too many questions, don't you? I like you, already. I feel like we are gonna be great friends, we'll be like twins, awesome. Not that I don't like Aadhya .We will all be great friends, we three will be like three musketeers. OMG. I can't wait for that to happen. It's awe-some. Yay", Shailaja said squealing like a little girl who just saw Santa.

How can someone get so much excited for almost nothing is beyond me.

"So, this is my dorm. You go sit there while I and Ravvs get you some warm clothes", Shailaja said pointing to the bed. I reluctantly sit and unknowingly look at her laptop which was unlocked. The moment I saw it, I wish I didn't see that, the wallpaper of her Laptop is a photo of Advay and Shailaja hugging each other and smiling at each other. I don't know why but it felt like someone slapped me on my face.

"Thank god we were not late", Ravvs said out of breath. After I have seen that picture I did not utter a word. I could not even look at Shailaja even though it's not her fault if Advay likes her. I quickly changed into a blue jeans and red sweat shirt she gave me and ran without wasting a second.

"So, wanna tell me what really happened", Ravvs asked.

"Nothing much, I lost balance. I fell", I replied leaving out all the other details.

"Yeah, thank you for the detailed information", she said with sarcasm.

"Information about what", the monster himself asked.

I looked towards my right to see Advay settled comfortably in a seat next to mine. Ravvs looked at him then me and smirked. Oh, no, I understood what she was about to do.

"Nothing, girl stuff", I replied before Ravvs can open her mouth. At the same time, much to Ravvs dismay, professor entered the class and took over.

Throughout the class, whenever I looked at Advay he was smiling a 'your-embarrassment- is –my-entertainment' smile, which irritated me to no end.

"Stop smiling like that", I whisper-yelled at him.

"Like what", he asked in a hushed tone.

"Like........like......ugh".
