It took us ten minutes to find the office room. The door creeked as we opened it. There was a lady in her mid 40's, staring at her MacBook. She heard the creek sound of the door and looked up to find us.
"Good Morning lovelies! What can I do for you today?" , she spoke not giving us the chance to speak first, thankfully.
"Good Morning! I'm Ravvs Parker and she is my friend Aadhya Gupta.We are here to collect our schedules for MBA, first year",Ravvs replied with her cheerful voice and smile on her face.
"Give me a minute", as she said Ms.Patrick started searching for our schedule.
"Ms.Parker and Ms.Gupta here is your schedule. Have a nice day". She handed us two papers. After greeting her the same, we went in search of our classes.
While we are discussing our schedules, I noticed a figure approaching us and without a warning he grabbed Ravvs by her waist and scared both of us to death.
"God Evan! You almost gave us a heart attack",I somehow fumbled those words while controlling my heartbeat.
"Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you", he apologised while putting Ravvs to her feet. Evan Sparks and Ravvs have been in a relationship since three years.
Falling for his puppy dog look, Ravvs immediately forgave him and kissed his cheek. They are a perfect couple. Their eyes aired love and care for each other. Evan is annoying, but his caring nature threw a cloth over all his flaws. We became friends pretty quickly. He treats me like his little sister since he never had one and even I love him as a brother.
After showering Ravvs with praises and his affection, he quickly greeted me with a hug .
"You two look beautiful .I think I need to work out a bit more to beat the daylight of the boys who come behind you girls", he stated while showing his muscles. We burst into laughter at his stupid comment.
Turns out that Ravvs and I share the first class, while in second I'm alone. I was disappointed at that, Ravvs quickly lifted my mood by reminding me that we three have same classes after lunch.
We were currently seated in our first class. We sat at the back of the class as neither of us wanted any attention.
The professor entered the class, introduced himself and without any further waste of time, he started his lecture.
"I still can't believe that we are separated by the brutal schedule. Who even prepares a schedule this way. I hate this", Ravvs started complaining about her separation with Evan. I tuned her out after five minutes of continuous ranting and turned my concentration on the lecture.
I was thankful, I have my second class to myself without the lovey-dovey couple. I love my friends but at sometimes they can be so annoying. I swear if I had five more minutes of Ravvs ranting about her boyfriend I would have personally shut her up.I'm not a violent person. But NOTHING,I repeat NOTHING, should come between me and my studies. I quickly left the class as soon as the bell rang. I couldn't be more happy to see my friends walking towards me.
Even though I love listening to my class without disturbance, I hate to be alone. It may be childish on my part but I cannot stand in crowds of people. Especially,if I'm alone by myself in those crowds. I may look paranoid, but I can't take my chances after what happened last year.
"Hey ,Earth to Aadhya", Ravvs spoke waving her hand in front of my face making me to come out of day dreaming.
"Sorry. What were you saying",I asked her.
"Evan here,being the drama queen he is, says he might die out of hunger", Ravvs teased.
"You people are so mean", Evan pouted.
"Let's go and find a table then", I spoke dragging Ravvs with me, to find a table, who in turn dragged Evan.
The Cafeteria is full of Buzz.
"You two find a table, while I go and get our food."
With that Evan started towards the food counter. We spot a table quickly and sat there.
"God , Evan is taking forever to get our food", Ravvs complained.
"What! You miss him already?",I teased.
She blushed at my statement but didn't deny it. I really like to tease her.
"Get out of here you two idiots. This is my table", we were so engrossed in our conversation that we didn't notice a figure standing at our table.
