"Okay, all done"

"Thank you so much Cherry. Without you, all this never would've happened", I thanked sincerely.

"Hey, it okay. You don't have to thank me. Moreover, I just gave you the idea. You are the one who came up with the plan and, with some miracle, convinced my uncle, which I still can't believe", she said leaning on her chair.

"It was easy, actually. All I had to do was put out some facts and figures in front of him", I said her nonchalantly.

"Really?", she raised her eyebrows and looked at me like she didn't believe a word I said.

"Okay, that and some lies", I said not meeting her eyes.

"And what are those?", she asked now standing in front of me like a predator ready to attack its prey.

"Nothing you should worry about. Don't you think we should edit a bit of the last part of the video", my weak attempt of changing the topic did not divert her attention from me.

"No, we've already checked it five times. There's no need to change anything from that video. Now back to the topic, what did you tell my uncle?", she asked with a serious expression.

"Oh, look it is time we should upload it", I said moving away from her.

"Aadhya, stop right there and tell me the truth. Unless, you confess the truth to me, we are not uploading this video whatsoever", she said with a tone that indicated that she wouldn't budge until I tell the entire truth.

"Okay, but first take a seat and relax", I dragged her to chair and sat in front of her.

"Before I tell anything, please don't over react and think with a cool and open mind, okay?", she nodded.

"Good, so, I uh- kind of hinted to your uncle that you um l-like Advay ", I whispered with a sheepish smile.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?", she shouted.

"Firstly, stop shouting. Secondly, I know you'll react like that and that's why I did not tell you", I nervously explained.

"Aadhya Gupta you have two minutes to justify your actions otherwise I'm gonna make you regret it", she threatened.

"Okay. See, your uncle was not entirely convinced even after I told him that our reputation is linked to Advay's now and hence we must do something to prove him innocent. I've shown him the video and he still did not budge, so I quickly said that you will be sad because I know you will be sad when I'm sad and I will be sad because Advay will be sad, but your uncle understood something different. He assumed that you will be sad because you can't see Advay sad and I did not correct him. So, you see technically I did not lie, I just hid the truth", I said all in single breath and walked towards far corner of the room so that I can flee when I need to.

"So, you basically made my uncle believe that I have feelings for Advay and I can't see him being humiliated when it is the exact opposite because I can't see Riddanth humiliated and I have feelings for him. You are s-", she abruptly stopped.

"What did you say?", I asked now walking towards her.

"Nothing, I-I said n-nothing", she said started to leave but I blocked her path. Now, the roles were reversed. She is backing away form me whereas I'm advancing towards with a smug expression.

"No, you said you have feelings for Riddanth", I said.

"What? NO. Pffff, Riddanth and I? No way. I hate him", she tried to cover her slip-up.

"Yeah, and I'm Queen Victoria", I said rolling my eyes and raised my eyebrows staring at her.

"Fine, I like him", she sighed.
