Mr.Not-So-Perfect

Chapter 18

"Hey guys, I'm sorry, I'm late. I swear it feels like all the cars of the city are here.I'm never driving car to a party again", Cherry exclaimed coming towards us, with Advay walking beside her.

"Hey", Advay greeted us all and did one of those manly hugs with Evan. Now that I know that I'm still not over him ,I feel like I'm going to explode with all those feelings inside me and him being near me with his cologne surrounding my senses is not helping my case, at all. I need to get away from him before I lose my cool.

"Come on, let's dance", I said and without giving a chance for them to respond I dragged both Ravvs and Cherry with me to the dance floor and started dancing immediately to the song which I never heard of.

"What is wrong with you? Are you fine?", Ravvs asked looking at me like I'm a ghost.

"I'm perfectly fine. Now, stop looking at me weirdly", I said and turned to Cherry and we both danced.

"Something's definitely wrong. Normally, I would be the one to drag you to the dance floor. But now it's the other way", Ravvs expressed her doubts.

"Can't I dance at my own success party", I pouted.

"You can but you wouldn't ", Ravvs said while dancing with me. I shrugged.

"That was awesome", Cherry yelled through the music referring to the crazy dance we've been doing.

"Yeah", Ravvs agreed.

Cherry was about to say something but all of a sudden the music turned off and everybody groaned showing their disapproval but those protests were cut off by a voice in the mic.

"Sorry for the inconvenience everyone but this party was getting boring and I decided to bring it up a notch. So, are you people ready to have some fun", shouted Riddanth standing near the DJ and the crowd responded with a very loud Yeah.

"So guys before we proceed, I want you people to get seperated in  two groups. All the girls come to the right side of the dance floor and boys the other side", Riddanth said and the crowd started dispersing to do as said. Before I could decide whether to participate in this 'fun' or not, Ravvs dragged Cherry and I to the right side of the dance floor, where already half of the girls stood impatiently.

After five minutes girls and boys were separated and stood at the opposite sides of the dance floor. As soon as everyone's sorted and appeared a slightly less mess two people, who were dressed as butlers, came holding two bowls of chits. What is happening?

As if hearing my inner voice, Riddanth answered the question, "So guys I want each of you to pick a chit in which a number is mentioned but before we do that I want to tell you about the rules so that if anyone want to back out they can now, but not after picking the chits. Are we clear?"

The crowd again shouted 'Yeah', again.

"Fine, there is only one rule. After you pick the chit, you have to find your partner, who is the one with same number from the other group, and for the entire night he/she is your partner, You can consider them as your friend or anything you want, but no matter what you have to be with them unless you both come to a mutual understanding or your partner is a creep", he announced and laughed at the last part and everyone joined him.

"So, people who are spoilsport or the ones who are already in a relationship can back out now", he said and immediately I started to move away but Ravvs stopped me.

"Nope, you are not gonna miss a great opportunity to avoid things messing with you and enjoy", Ravvs ordered.

"No,we're not going spend the night with some strangers, right Cherry?", I looked at Cherry to support me but she was lost in her own thoughts looking at something, shutting the world out completely.
