Chapter 22

"No, no, no, no and no"

"Oh, come on, it'll be fun", Ravvs pleaded.

"No way", I refused once again.

"Aadhya just listen to me. I promise you'll enjoy it", she said sitting beside me.

"You know I'm not a nature's person ", I stated. I'm so many things but definitely not a hiker. It's not like I don't like nature, in fact, I love nature but that is limited to only enjoying the view while travelling.

"Please, Aadhya. If not for me do it for Evan. He was the one who planned this and he already promised to his friends that we'll be there. If we don't go, he'll be disappointed and embarrassed and we don't want that to happen, now, do we?", she asked with a devilish smile knowing that I wouldn't let down Evan.

"Fine", I huffed out with irritation.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you", she hugged me jumping up and down.

"But, if I die due to my clumsiness I blame you"

"Don't worry, we won't let you die. Anyways, Riddanth would be there to catch when you fall", she teased.

"Stop it", I said not even bothering to ask her what she meant and where is she going with that. Ever since Riddanth and I, hung out, she's been teasing me. She'd relate every sentence, every action to him and tease so after some time I stopped correcting her and just ignored her, which is easier said than done.

"We all know that he likes you and you like him, too. It's just a matter of time before you both realize it and start the relationship", she explained.

"Ravvs, I already told, there is nothing going on between us and we don't like each other like that. We are just friends", I replied.

"Really? Then , how do you justify you both hanging out ignoring all others these days, huh?", she smirked.

"We are friends and friends hang out every time", I explained slowly, like I'm talking to a 5-year-old. Let me say, the probability of convincing the latter is more.

"Yeah, right", she snorted not believing a word I say. I shrugged not in a mood to argue with her.

When Ravvs said we'd be hiking with some of Evan's friends, I did not expect that some would be 20 people. I didn't know Evan was popular, until now. Well, with his great looks and personality it wouldn't have been too difficult, but still it came pretty shocking to me. The whole hiking group involved around 30 people which included me, Ravvs, Evan, Riddanth, Cherry, Evan's friends and Cherry's friends. I was introduced everyone but I didn't remember most of their faces, much less their names. But some of Evan's friends were friendly that even I felt comfortable around them. Not only they were friendly, but they are crazy and funny, which made them all the more entertaining.

Out of all, Henry was more fun. He's a flirt, not in perverted way but in a friendly way but that did not stop Evan from getting mad because of his constant teasing and flirting with Ravvs.

"Stop over-reacting Evan, he was just talking to me", Ravvs explained.

"No, he wasn't just talking to you, he was flirting with you and you did not stop him", he said standing in between and holding Ravvs hand while glaring at Henry.

"Hey, I can do whatever I want with my future wifey. Who are you to stop", Henry asked and went to stand beside Ravvs. Well, about this wife thing, when he saw Ravvs, he asked her to be his girlfriend but Evan came hit him on the head and shouted, so Henry decided that Ravvs would be his future wife and since the position of his girlfriend is free, he generously decided to give that post to me, without even asking me, which made me laugh.
