"Akka, what exactly are you doing?"

"Uh, sitting?", it came out more like a question than an answer.

"On the ground, behind the chair?", she asked looking at me like I've gone mad.

"Yeah, I did not see the chair", I laughed to cover my pathetic attempt to lie to her. I've always encouraged Sneha to do something new. Now, I regret ever doing that. Because of my friend's stupidity and want for doing something new she took the idiotic decision of conducting Haldi ceremony for both bride and groom at the same venue and that's the reason I've been hiding behind a chair.

"Alright, now spill", she demanded.

"Spill what?", I innocently asked although I know what she was implying at.

"Okay, from the time we entered the venue you've been acting weird and being jumpy and hiding under chairs. So, I know there's something wrong, all I want to know is what", she answered folding her arms giving me no opportunity to back out or lie. I looked around and noticed that Ravvs and Evan were far from us and indulged in their own world. I sighed and explained about how met Advay and what happened.

"Wow", she said. Judging by her expression she was as shocked as I was. "So what are you worried about?", she asked.

"Rishitha, did you listen to a word I said?", I whisper-shouted.

"Yes and I don't see how it is a problem in fact it is a very good opportunity for you show him that you don't care about him anymore. So, stop worrying and start enjoying", she said.

"You are right. Thank you, you are the best sister ever", I hugged her and she chuckled at my childish act.

"I know. So where is Riddanth", she asked looking around.

"I don't know", I said feeling sad because I did not meet him since dandiya night and even on that I couldn't speak with properly. I thought I can talk to him and spend some time with today and he is nowhere to be seen and his phone is off. I just hope he is safe.

"Speak of the devil", she muttered and pointed her head behind me and I quickly understood what she was referring to or in this case who.

Immediately I turned towards him and I don't know what made me do it but I ran towards him and hugged him. Maybe I did it because I missed him or maybe because I was worried about him or may be both but I did it and he hugged me back.

"Is this especially for me or is this how you welcome everyone at Indian weddings because if it is then I think I'll attend more Indian weddings, only if you welcome me", he laughed.

"Shut up", was my lame response at his statement. I mean he basically said that he likes hugging me and what did I do nothing.

After I pulled away from him, "Where were you? Why didn't you meet me yesterday? Why didn't you call me yesterday? Why was your phone off? Why are you late? Do you know how worried I was?", I flooded him with questions continuously without giving him a chance to respond.

"Are you done?", he asked with a laugh. I nodded.

"I visited my friends yesterday", he answered.

"You could've told me this earlier. I was worried about you", I scolded him.

"I'm sorry. If I'd known that you would be worried for me I would've informed", he said and once again hugged me. I nodded not knowing what to do.

"Thank you for caring about me", he sincerely said still holding me.
