Mr.Not-So-Perfect

Chapter-6

"I'm Doomed Ravvs, I'm Doomed". I shouted pacing in the room.

"Aadhya I'm saying this for the hundredth and last time, no, you are NOT doomed. You are overreacting. Seriously, it's not end of the world and for god's sake, stop pacing around" Ravvs tried to convince me.

"Didn't you hear every word of their warning? Third day of college and I've already succeeded in making rivals with the two popular girls", I muttered sitting on the bed and covering my face with my hand.

"Aadhya, that's what they want. They just want you to fear them and I'm not letting this happen, never. Nothing will happen. So, stop being paranoid and go make dinner. I'm starving", Ravvs whined.

"I'm not in the mood to prepare dinner. Order something for today", I said half-heartedly.

"Yay! It's pizza time", she squealed like a little girl and quickly ordered a pizza.

"Hello my lovely ladies" Evan greeted us as soon as we entered the parking lot. Although, Evan didn't share same class with us, it became a routine for us to meet him at parking lot in the morning.

I couldn't help but glance at my surroundings. Call me paranoid or whatever, but I think something's going to happen today and I'm not going to like it. I was worried mainly because of the threat by Cherry, as I got to know the name of the girl who had threatened me. She looked like a person who does what she says.

"Hello, earth to Aadhya" Ravvs said while waving a hand in front of my faces.

"Sorry. What were you saying" I asked looking at both of them apologetically.

"You zoned out on us for the past five minutes. Also, you are looking at your surroundings as if you are a spy and waiting for someone to attack you", Evan spoke with concern.

"It'becau-" Ravvs started by I cut her off, "Nothing, just worried about being late to class".

"Are you sure" Evan asked once again. "Positive", I replied.

"Okay. I won't want you to be late for the class because of me. Bye girls" he said.

"Bye. See you later" we quickly replied and started walking towards our class.

"Aadhya, I Know you are awaiting any kind of trouble coming your way because of cherry and her stupid, self-centred, egoistic friend. But, can you be less obvious about it. You look something worse will happen to you if you let your guard down. Please relax. Whatever happens we are going to face it together", Ravvs spoke with determination.

I started at her with disbelief, "Wow Ravvs! When did you become responsible and sensible".

"Hey! That's offensive. I've always been like this. I just don't let people know about this side 'cause I'm awesome like this" she replied like she is some sort of a secret super hero. We both laughed at this. Just like that my mood has been uplifted because of the girl standing beside. She was always there for me.

"Aadhya, promise me you will be fine. Promise me you will call me if you need. I just need you to be safe" Ravvs said, slowly like she's talking to a five-year-old child. I rolled my eyes at her.

"Okay mother", I replied mockingly.

"Aadhya , I'm serious" Ravvs said with exasperation.

"Okay! I got it. No need to repeat it like hundred times. I'll take care of myself. It's just one class" I reasoned.

"Yeah, but it's also the class you share with the devil a.k.a Lucy and her friend. So, for my sake, please be careful" Ravvs explained with concern.
After I promised her about taking care of myself for what felt like thousand times and also agreed to meet her at cafeteria. She left for her second class leaving me to go to my second class.
