"Ravvs, for the hundredth time, I'm not worried about the classes I missed", I snapped at my best friend.
"Yeah, like I would believe that. If you are not, then what are you so stressed about", she asked, diverting her attention from the professor to me and just as quickly shifted her attention back.
She is right. I'm stressed. But not for the reason she assumed. In fact, I'm like this, since this morning. The reason for my stress is Advay.
After Advay and Shailaja's reunion in my room, they both left and since then, I did not hear from either of them. Advay did not come to class today and I did not expect him to but a phone call or at least a message from him would be good. But he's too much of an airhead to do that. I know, I can call him but after witnessing yesterday's affection between Advay and Shailaja it feels like I would be intruding them, even if it is just friendly concern.
I can't explain this to my friend, if I did, she would conjure up some ridiculous fantasies and tease me till the end of the century. Also, I'm not exactly a great liar, which means she would immediately catch my act and will make me spill everything. So, I opted for an easier way, that is, to keep my mouth shut. Knowing Ravvs, she just assumed that I was worried because I missed my classes and consoled me about it for like a hundred times and hence my irritation.
"See, you are again lost in thoughts about classes. Aadhya, you missed nothing. Just trust me, okay?", Ravvs consoled me, again.
"Okay", I said just to make her stop talking and it worked. For the first time, I'm glad we both have same class.

"Hey", Cherry greeted, walking towards me and took a seat behind me.
"Hey", I responded absentmindedly, looking at the door for every two seconds expecting Advay to walk in with a warm smile and teasing glint in his eyes.
"How's Advay? ", she asked.
"Fine", I said turning around to give her my full attention.
"I-", she stopped herself when somebody shouted her name and called her.
"Wait for me after the class and we'll both go for lunch together", she said and left.
"Missed me?", someone whispered in my ear which made me jump out of my seat and shout.
Riddanth laughed at my reaction and did not stop until I glared at him.
"It wasn't funny. You nearly gave me a heart attack", I accused him.
"It's not my fault that you get scared easily", he said with a teasing smile.
"I do not ", I responded.
"Yeah, sure. Anyways, did you miss me", he asked again.
"Yeah, so much", I replied with sarcasm.
"Careful there, if you miss me so much I might get a wrong idea that you like me", he teased.
"Oh, no. How did you find out? I was waiting for the right time to confess my undying love for you", I continued the act.
"I know you'd fall for my charm. But I did not expect that to happen this early", he said with a smirk.
"Don't be so cocky", I said and punched his arm.
"Yes ma'am", he saluted mockingly.
"So I was thinking that, if you are free today, maybe we can hang out and watch a movie or something", he said blushing. His expression resembled a child asking for ice-cream. It's so cute that I could not deny him.
