Mr.Not-So-Perfect

Chapter 27

"Ravvs, if you don't come out in five minutes, I swear we'll leave you", I threatened my so-called best friend. We've been attending many functions and parties these days and if you think that made Ravvs to get ready on time then you couldn't be more wrong. Poor Evan, he's been waiting for us for the past one hour. At least now, he's not alone. Riddanth came to our house to come with us.

We should've been at Sneha and Sampath's bachelor party 30 minutes ago but because of Ravvs we still did not start yet. Rishitha isn't with us now she went to her friend's birthday party. If she were here then she would've straightened Ravvs out.

For the both Sangeeth and mehendi functions, Rishitha took care of Ravvs and her dramas. It felt like, Rishitha is Ravvs elder sister.

Sangeeth and Mehendi function were awesome. We enjoyed a lot and had lots and lots of fun. I was so happy that my childhood friend finally found her happiness and the best part was I shared my happiness with the people most care about in this world. The only downside was I had to endure Advay's presence but thankfully he did not try to speak to me much except the occasional smirks, smiles and glares according to his mood.

"Let's go", Ravvs took my hand and started walking.

"Finally", I sighed and started walking along with her.

"Finally", Riddanth repeated my word as soon as he heard us descending the stairs.

Both, Riddanth and Evan, got up looking at their watches. To say, both were handsome would be an understatement.

Riddanth wore a burgundy colored blazed on white t-shirt with blue jeans. Evan wore a similar outfit, except he chose a beige colored blazer to match with Ravvs outfit of beige colored body-fit plain dress. As usual, Ravvs was looking beautiful.

I wore a long plain maxi dress and matched it with a silver chain which has an infinity symbol with small stones embedded on it.

As soon as we reached them, Riddanth smiled at me, "You look beautiful"

"Thanks ", I said playing with my silver purse, not knowing what to do. I then noticed that Ravvs and Evan already headed out and we soon followed but as soon as we started walking Riddanth took my hand in his and walked like it is the most natural thing in the world and I did not make an effort to object his actions.

"You are late", was the first thing my friend said to me as soon as I entered the party.

"I uh- I ", I stammered unable to say something coherent. You would do the same if you were in my position. A girl can face anything except a pissed off best friend.

"I'll deal with you later. Now, come on I have to introduce you to so many people", she said and dragged me.

After meeting tons and ton of people, I finally settled on a couch and closed my eyes to relax. After sometime I felt someone beside me. I ignored them until I heard a very familiar voice. At that time I was thankful for the fact that I left my hair open because it covered my face from the person beside.

"You should take care of yourself. You never listen to me and see now you are tired", I heard Advay scolding someone with concern. I was about to turn and look at him but after hearing the other person's voice my body stiffened and I dare did not move a bit which might alert them of my presence.

"I know but I felt like forgetting everything and enjoy for a day", Shailaja explained with a tired voice. One can know how much tired she was just by listening to her voice, she was that tired.
