Aadhya's pov:
There is nothing more satisfying in this world than watching the person who destroyed you suffer. Right now, I'm craving that satisfaction and I'm going to anything to get that, even if it involves battling my past demons.
After listening to the Cherry's pep talk, I fixed my appearance and we both entered the conference grabbing every person's attention. I did not care about anything except the one standing at the front with a smirk.
"Since all of you finally decided to grace me with your presence, after an unplanned and useless break, let's continue", he spoke directing a glare towards us. But that did not affect me like he thought it would instead it strengthened my resolution for what I'm about to do.
"In the last meeting we discussed about the benefits all your companies would get by this merge. This is merge is more important to you people than it is to me, as there are some small companies which are rising faster than any of yours can imagine. In fact, this merge can triple your profits in just a year if we can work together. No-",
"Now, gentlemen, why don't we go over those benefits Mr.Raizada was talking once again, just to be sure. There is nothing wrong in checking things twice", I cut his arrogant speech.
"I don't want to waste all of our time by doing something which is already done", he said clenching his fists.
"I think it is better to waste few minutes of our time in reviewing than to waste years of hard work just to face loses", I replied by looking at all the members present in the room. Most of them looked between him and me not able to decide whose side to take. They were whispering among themselves weighing pros and cons of both the opinions.
"That's very good thinking. I agree with Ms.Gupta and I'm with her on this", Cherry interrupted the crowd, supporting me.
"I agree, too", the creep who sat beside me earlier said smiling creepily at me. Soon, rest of the members voiced out their approvals and Mr.Raizada grumpily agreed.
He explained everything again and it was much better than the last time according to Cherry. I think he understood what I'm trying to do and hence, leaving me no opportunity to mess his plan. Unfortunately for him, I was good at this. Who knew my continuous studies can be used to get revenge, right?
After his presentation, everybody applauded and praised him. After they ran out of their appreciation, I took charge.
"So, Mr.Raizada , after listening to your presentation I'm impressed", I said and his face showed that he clearly wasn't expecting this. Just as his stance relaxed I spoke.
"But, how are you so sure it would work because if it doesn't, well, let's just say that is equivalent to handing our shares to our enemy on a golden platter, don't you think?", I asked raising my eyebrows.
"No, I don't. I already told you about the back-up plan if we fail. My plans are fool-proof. You would've understood it if you paid attention to it", he scowled.
"Oh, I did pay attention. More than you can imagine. These foolproof plan of yours works only if the things go according to what you assumed would happen. What if it doesn't? What if some people come up with some new technology, when we almost release our products. I'm sure, customers would show more interest to the new ones because I know I would", I said while looking at every person present in that room and inflicting doubts into their minds.
"Then we would make sure to implement that new technology into our products, if it ever happens", he replied.
"But by then most of our production would be completed or half-way done and if we want to switch to new ones, we would have to start from the scrap once again which ultimately results in our loses", Cherry answered firing his own bullet towards him.
"Yeah, huge loses which takes years to recover", Cherry's uncle said.
"But all of this is just a hypothesis based on a minute possibility", he tried to convince.
"But a possibility, nonetheless. So, I think it is best to reconsider this merge", Cherry and I said at the same passively.
Soon enough discussions spurred in the room and it looked like all of them are rethinking their decision to trust Mr.Raizada blindly.
"Just give me a minute to expla-"
"No, Mr.Raizada, it is best if we continue this meeting sometime. It gives all of us some to think all also you to come up with a possible solution for this. We are leaving for now"
This time it was Cherry's uncle who interrupted Mr.Raizada.
Everybody agreed and left. Cherry's uncle was discussing something with other's when he approached me.
"Aadhya, why are you doing this to me? ", he asked with a frown.
"It's Ms.Gupta for you. And, I did this for my company. I did not do anything to you, yet", I smirked and left him baffled.
Before exiting the room, I looked at him and I slid my hand across my neck indicating him that he is finished.
He is done. Fasak.

Advay's pov:
What the hell? Why is she here?
And Why is she doing this?
Why does she always come and make my peaceful life into a turmoil?
I hate her. I hate her so much.
Reminiscing all the events at the conference, my body shook with rage.
A clacking sound interrupted my thoughts. I
I looked down to notice pieces of glass on floor and some stuck to my palm. I can see the blood staining my hand but I felt no pain.
The blood dripped from my hand on to the table which has my company logo encrypted on it.
Logo. Its not just a symbol but much more, especially to my parents.
I still remember the time, my father designed it.

(Flash back)
"Dad, tell mom that I don't want to go that party", I ran towards my father who was working in his study room.
"And, may I ask why not?", he asked picking me up and letting me sit comfortably on his lap.
"Advay, what are you doing here? How many times have I told you not to disturb your father when he is working?", my mother sighed looking at me.
"It's okay,Pragnya. I always have time for my little scout", my father said ruffling my hair.
"I'm not little scout, I'm a big scout because I'm eight years old", I pouted.
"Okay, big scout, back to my question. Why don't you want to go to that party?", he asked looking at me.
"Because it is boring. Papa, what is this party for? ", I asked with a frown.
"Scout, today we are launching our new logo. So, it is a celebration for us", he explained but it confused me more.
"What is logo?", I wondered.
"Logo, is the representation of a company. It is what which makes you different from others. Now, that you are here and also know about logo, select one out of these two", he said pointing towards two pictures. One has letters 'ASR' in it and the other one 'AR'.
Without thinking I pointed towards the one with 'AR', simple because it looked nice to me.
"Good choice, scout"
"What does ASR and AR stand for", my mother who was looking at us until now sitting on the couch.
"Well, it means Advay Singh Raizada and the other one Advay Raizada simply", my father clarified.
"Don't act so innocent, those are also the intials of your name, Mr.Arnav Singh Raizada. You both father and son don't love me", she huffed and turned around.
"We love you amma but papa loves me more than you", I laughed and ran out of the room only to be chased by both mom and dad.

"Popsy"
I saw my little champ run towards me followed Shailu. I looked at them and my eyes stung with tears but I did not let them outside.
"What happened?", Shailu asked with a frown looking at my hand.
"Nothing, just accidentally broke the glass", I answered and then knelt and hugged my champ.
"It doesn't look like nothing. Wait here until I bring the first-aid kit", she ordered and left to find the first-aid kit.
I led my champ towards the sofa and sat on it, settling him beside using one hand.
He started looking and hand with a frown, just like his mom. Shailu and Aryan are so similar, in many ways. Shailu returned with a big first-aid kit.
"You are aware that it is not an operation theatre, right", I joked staring at the first-aid kit. She scowled but ignored me and started cleaning me up. I hissed occasionally when she removed the glass pieces.
"Is it paining. Don't worry, I'll buy you ice-cream if you don't cry", he consoled me, and I nodded.
"Done. It isn't anything serious but if don't care of it might become one", she said. Shailu took paramedics classes, so she knows what she is doing.
"Did somebody beat you", he asked.
"Yeah, something like that", I answered.
"But popsy, you are strong. No one can beat you", he pouted.
"Yes, no one can, and no one will"
Not even Ms.Aadhya Gupta.
