Thomas Jefferson has always annoyed the living shit out of me. I've never gotten along with him, and I probably never will.
Yet I still find myself falling for him.
When ever we get into it with each other, we have sides. Of course Jefferson has Madison and I have the Hamilsquad. And my twin brother Alexander. But when we do fight, its mostly Alex that chimes in. He has a burning hatred for the guy.
With Alex being my twin brother, he always makes sure that I'm never around Jefferson. And it kinda makes my fondness of him grow. I mean, I hate him but that doesn't mean I can't have a crush on him.
As im sitting in English, Mr. Washington's class, I notice a sign on the whiteboard about a debate club. I take note and decide to write my name on the paper.
Mr. Washington walks over to me and pats my back. He laughs and whispers in my ear (😏).
"If your anything like your brother, you'll love it, (Y/n)." He says and walks away. I smile and go back to my desk.
I get through the rest of my day and start walking to Mr. Washington's room. I hear Alex calling my name and I turn, rolling my eyes in the process.
"What Alex?" I ask.
"Where are you going? We have to cook dinner tonight." He tells me and I nod.
"I know. Mr. Washington wants me to go to Speech and Debate. I figured I'd go and see."
"Whatever. I'll see you at home then." He says and walks away, starting towards where his car is.
As i entered Mr. Washington's classroom I see a man in purple velvet, black dress shoes, and a cape. I regret my life choices and try to walk out, but he sees me before I can.
"Hey (Y/n).." He says awkwardly. I smile at him and sit down at one of the desks. As I walk past him, he grabs my wrist. "Wait. I know we're not on the best of terms with your brother hating me and all, but-"
"I know, I know, but I just-" I start but he interrupts me.
"I just wanted to say I was sorry and shit but-"
"Shut up so I can say something nice to you Jefferson!" I snap, and his expression goes from apologetic to a smirk.
"I like this change of pace."
