Info: Connor x Reader (Female reader)
Basically, the reader loves to sing but is shy. She has a crush on Connor and doesn't talk to him because shyness and stuffs. There is a talent show, and Jared (her best frendo) decides to sign her up
She does it, and Connor notices her haha.

The blood pounds in my ears. My stomach flip flops. And the announcer says my name.

"And now we have a lovely girl by the name of (Y/n) to bless us with her beautiful voice. She was one of the first people we wanted in this show so here she is! Please welcome (Y/n) (L/n)!" And the crowd screams. I gulp, and Jared has to push me out as the red velvet curtains are raised.

I look back and see him giving me a thumbs up as I walk to the piano. I give a small wave to the crowd then take the mic that's attached to the piano.

"H-Hello!" I start shyly, earning me loud resposes back from the audience. "As he just said, I'm (Y-Y/n) and I'll be singing and playing the piano. I'll be doing 'I Can't Help Falling In Love' by Elvis Presley."

The crowd cheers again and I plant my hands on the keys. I gently press in, creating a lovely sound as I surround my self with it, forgetting I'm in front of a hundred, likely more, people.

"Wise men say, only fools rush in." I start. "But I can't help falling in love with you.

"Shall I stay? Would it be a sin, if I can't help falling in love, with you?" I pause and let the words sink in before continuing, letting the words roll gradually off my tongue.

"Like the river flows, surely to the sea, darling so it goes, somethings are meant to be." I draw out 'be' and continue. "Take my hand take my whole life too, for I can't help falling in love with you."

I play the piano to draw out the effect again and then sing the song again. "Like the river flows, surely to the sea, darling so it goes, somethings are meant to be."

"Take my hand. Take my whole life too, for I can't help, falling in love with you." I play and pause, letting the sound of the piano fade before singing the last line. "For I, cant help, falling in love with.. you."

The crowd falls silent, a pin could drop and it would sound like a scream. I stand up from the piano and bow, and like an erupting volcano, the crowd screams.

I laugh and can feel the emotions and stress relief overcome me as I run and hug Jared, letting tears fall down my face.

"I'm so proud of you (Y/n)." He tells me and wipes the tears from my face. He nudges me and motions behind him. and that's when I notice Connor Murphy standing there, as if waiting. "Told you he'd notice you."

I nod and walk over to him. He looks to his side and sees me, I smile and wave.

"That was amazingly well sung." He tells me, his voice cool and calm, unlike mine which was filled with anxiety and adrenaline.

"T-Thanks." I squeak trying to calm my nerves. "Means a lot."

"Well I wanted to ask you something." He starts. "It may seem like I haven't noticed you but I have. I just haven't known what to say to you because I didn't want to make you uncomfortable. But, I was wondering if you would would like to go get coffee with me sometime?"

"Y-Yea! Of course!" I exclaim excitedly and he smirks happily.

"Thanks. Means a lot."
