Info: Connor x reader
Plot- Connor is thinking about how (y/n) is dating Jared and he gets jealous, until he finds out she never liked Jared and she likes Connor

"Connor what's wrong? You've been staring a hole in (Y/n)'s back." Evan asks, giving me a sympathetic look. He's known I've liked (Y/n) since before I really knew I did.
"Nothing Evan."
"Your jealous, huh?"
"No."
"Connor I know you, your jealous." He pressures a little but not to much.
"Ok maybe I am." I give in, huffing and crossing my arms.
"Connor-"
"Do you think she would have... I don't know... loved me?" I ask, sighing sadly, pulling my legs up to my chest on the lunch room tables.
"What?" He questions, tilting his head like a confused puppy.
"Do you think she could have loved me??" I repeat, my voice a bit harsher.
"I-I don't know.."
I look over again and see (Y/n) storming away from Jared, walking fast with her head in her hands. I stand up and start walking after her.
I find her sitting on the floor in the middle of an empty hallway, sobbing. I walk towards her slowly, trying to not scare her as if she's a wild animal, full of grace and can be spooked at the smallest sound.
"H-Hey (Y/n).." I say, making her jump. She looks up and then calms down, her heartbeat relaxing.
"Hello Connor..." she sniffs. She rubs her eyes and pulls her legs closer to her heaving chest.
"Can I help?" I ask, fidgeting with my fingers as I sit down a few inches away from her. She shakes her head and sniffs. "Then can I ask what's wrong?"
"I found out Jared was cheating on me.." she says, taking a deep, shaky breath.
"Do you wanna talk about it?.."
"No... but yes.. I just need a shoulder to cry on." She tells me.
"Can I help?" I ask, making her nod. I scoot closer and let her lay her head on my shoulder. After a while, she stops and closes her eyes.
Then she starts breathing deeply, and I realize she's asleep. I chuckle and pull out my phone. I take a picture and save it. Then I call Evan.
"Hey- where are you??" He asks, obviously worried.
"In the hallway with an asleep (Y/n)." I whisper back.
"Really??"
"All I wanted to do was help, and here I am. I'm glad I did. I'll talk to you later Ev. Bye." I smile, chuckling before I hang up.
I smile and quietly pull her close.
"Glad I could help."
