As I press my ear to my girlfriends bedroom door, I can feel tears stream down my face as I hear the words that come from her mouth.
"I don't love (Y/n) anymore." She sighs to Heather Duke over the phone. "I really don't. I'm thinking of breaking up with him to get with someone else."
I open the door, and fling it so it hits the wall, making her jump and curse at me for scaring her.
"(Y/n)! What are you-"
"Tell it to my face!" I scream, making her flinch.
"What?"
"Tell me you don't love me to my face Heather!" I repeat, making her expression go from angry to panicked.
"(Y/n) it's not what you think-"
"I think it is!! I heard you say to Heather that you are thinking of breaking up with me for another guy!" I angrily explain, tears still falling from my puffy eyes. "tell me you don't love me! Right here, to my face!"
"(Y/n) I-"
"Or are you to good to tell your lowly boyfriend that your over me?" I spit, making her expression morph into sadness. "Are you too good for me Heather? Because I wouldn't be surprised if that's what you think."
"That's not it!" She cries out, making me scoff with all but any emotion.
"Then what is it Heather? If I wasn't not good enough, you would have told me. Tell me right now, am I not good enough for you?" I sniff, getting closer as she struggles to answer.
"(Y/n) I- I don't know-"
"That's what I thought.." I scoff again, shaking my head as I walk out of her bedroom.
"Fine then leave! I- I don't care!" She cries out, trying to push the sadness behind her.
"Then good thing I am." I say, and don't look back.
