Plot: Both Evan ad the reader are dating, and they're both super nervous (like, Evan has a panic attack, for example) because they both want to come out as Asexual to one another

I rub my arm in nervousness, my anxiety practically eating me up from the inside.
"You ok (Y/n)?" Evan asks, but I can tell he's just as nervously I am. I nod and smile, my heart pound and my blood thumping in my ears.
"Mmhmm. But there is actually something I want to tell you..." I start, fiddling with my fingers. Evans head quirks to the side, making my heart flutter at his cute movement. "I just uhh... I just wanted to tell you that that uhh... I'm a-asexual..."
He stares at me, shocked and confused. I feel my heart thumb and my face go hot. I let my hair cover my face as the tears well up, my heart already deciding for my brain that he hates me.
"That's actually what I was gonna tell you tonight. I'm Asexual too." He explains, causing me raise my head.
"W-What?"
"I was gonna come out to you tonight too. But you came out first." He laughs, reaching across the table to press his hand to mine. I smile and let tears fall down my face. "Why are you crying? Did I say something wrong??"
"N-No!" I protest. "I just think it's perfect.."
"Your perfect." He smiles.
"We're perfect."
