~~~ "Are you and him every gonna get together?" Evan asks, making me arch my eye brow.
"Hmm?"
"Are you and Connor ever gonna be a thing or is it just gonna stay with him flirting and you blushing like a fucking maraschino cherry?" He groans. I chuckle, slightly embarrassed.
Connor and I have know each other since... well forever I guess. We grew up next door to each other and have been beat friends all of our lives.
"I-I don't know what your talking-"
"Heya (Y/n)~" a voice purrs in my ear, making my face heat up.
"See! A maraschino cherry!" Evan exclaims, flailing his arms.
"H-Hi Connor." I squeak.
"How are you babe?" He murmurs, making me cover my face in slight embarrassment. Connor chuckles at me, and kisses my cheek. "Also- Evan. Thank you for that nickname... maraschino cherry... I like it.. see ya later my little maraschino cherry."
I squeak a goodbye and put my head on the table, my entire face a bright red.
