Jacqueline's POV
Their smiles wipe away.
"Parent." Shraddha says. "But Papa is our mum and dad both."
"Same mum handles everything for us." I say.
Then the bell rings.
"Well me and Shraddha need to fo for Chem now so we'll see you guys later." I say.
I walk with Shraddha to the science campus.
"I'm sorry about Taapsee. She just blabs on and on. She doesn't think. Sorry if she made you feel uncomfortable." I say.
"It's okay she was just trying to make conversation." She says.
"You both should come over some time. Mum will love you."
We then enter the classroom.
"Okay guys I'm going to put you in seating plans." Mrs Patel says looking at the sheet through her glasses. "Over here. Dina and Harsh please. Row next to them: Aditya and Rani please. Row behind them Varun and Shraddha."
Shraddha's eye widens as she goes to the desk Varun tugging behind her.
"This row. Rocky and Samara. Next to them Sidharth and..."
Not me. Not me please not me.
"Jacquuliine."
Maybe she's saying someone else's name.
She looks at me. "Am I saying it wrong dear?"
I sit down grumpily.
"Cheer up pretty eyes." Sidharth says.
"Shut up! I'm with you. I'm the one who will be doing all the work and you just copying it because you won't listen." I snap.
"Okay class your first assignment is to write down anything you know about acids alkalis and neutralisation. Some quick revision."
"What the hell is that?" Sidharth says.
"High school work. We're in uni now." I say rolling my eyes.
He then laughs at his phone.
"Why are you being like Pennywise laughing like that?!" I say.
I catch a glimpse of his phone.
Its a chat between him and Varun.
Varun: We scored the jackpot bro!
Sidharth: I know right!
I scoff.
"Desperados."
"We're desperate?" He says.
"Yes you. Do you see anyone else sitting next to me!?"
He then types on his phone.
"Mr Malhotra! Place your phone on my desk right now." The teacher snaps.
He gets up and puts it on her desk.
"Tough luck." I say.
I slam my book shut.
"Stop looking at my work!"
Shraddha's POV
Oh my god Varun is so annoying all he does is talk and talk and talk!
"So I've been working out in the gym lately as you can see." He says flexing.
"You think that's abs." I say laughing.
"What does a guy have to do to impress you Miss Perfect?"
"Stop being such a vain jerk." I say getting on with my work.
"What are you two talking about planning your date?" The teacher says.
I blush profusely.
"Maybe." Varun says and all the boys cheer.
"You are such an idiot." I snap.
He smiles at me. "So what time shall I pick you up? 8?" He winks.
"Ugh please focus on the work." I slam the book in front of him.
"Shraddha you and Alia come over today after school." Jacqueline says.
"Yeah that'd be great."
"Ooh can I join too?" Varun asks.
"No!" Jacqueline and I exclaim.
"What are you going to do? Give each other make overs?" Sidharth asks.
"Sidharth, Varun can you get on with your work?" The teacher states.
Jacqueline and I chuckle.
Alia's POV
Taapsee and I walk to our next lesson and she sees her boyfriend prem. "Alia I'll just be back." She says.
I decide to go to class and I bump into this guy and I trip.
"Ow!" I say.
"Oh I'm so sorry are you ok?" He asks giving me a hand.
I hold his hand and he pulls me up.
"It's fine." I say.
He gives me a smile and I get lost into his dreamy eyes.
"I'm Shahid." He says
"Alia." I reply.
"Are you new?"
"Um yeah." I nod.
"How about I show you around some time?"
"Sure."
"Catch you later." He leaves.
Woah he's so handsome!
Aishwariya's POV
I clean around my room and I come across and old photo album.
I open it and see a picture of me with my 4 princesses. Leaving Shraddha and Alia behind completely broke me. But I didn't want them
to grow up watching me and their dad fight.
If I had the choice I would've kept them with me. In fact I do they're always in my heart. They must be all grown up now. Oh how I wish I could see them for even just a second.
I hear the door open and Jacqueline and Taapsee walk in with 2 other girls.
"Hi mum! Meet our friends Shraddha and Alia. They're new in uni." Taapsee says.
The names shock me.
They both smile.
"Hi Aunty." They say.
Are they my daughters? My Shraddha and Alia? No they might not be they are not the only Shraddha and Alia's in the world!
"Mum!" Jacqueline exclaims.
"Huh?"
"We're going upstairs." She says.
"Umm Shraddha, Alia make yourselves feel at home." I say.
"Thank you Aunty."
Shraddha's POV
When I saw Jacqueline and Taapsee's Mum a weird feeling overcame me.
It's like I know her. Her face is familiar but I just don't know where I've seen her before. That voice! I know that voice! I get sudden flashbacks but nothing rings a bell!
Will Shraddha and Alia find out that Aishwariya is their mum? Will Aishwariya ever know that Shraddha and Alia are her daughters?
