Chapter Six

Shraddha's POV

"What the hell?!" I say pulling away.

"My ex was here and we ended on a bad note."

"You are disgusting! Pedo!" I say.

"I'm the same age as you."

"Fine perv! And anyway sick guys like you die to kiss girls like me!" I say flipping my hair

"Umm no. It was just a get away card and I would be crazy to ever kiss you again." He says and walks past me and nudges me.

"Idiot!" I say to myself.

I then meet Alia.

Taapsees POV

"Come on Mum tell us!" I persist.

"Okay. The 2 girls are not you guys. And the other 2 are not either. When I finished my MBA I worked at a orphanage and I got really close to 4 girls there. I took lots of pictures of them to remember them. Im still in contact with some of them today."

"Aww Mum thats so sweet." Jacqueline says and we hug her.

"Oh well lets quickly finish off here and then go and catch up with your friends."

We meet Shraddha and Alia at Starbucks.

We drink our coffees until Shraddha satrts fuming.

"Oh no he didnt!"

"What happened?!"

She storms up to Varun on another table having coffee with a girl.

"I thought she was your ex!" Shraddha exclaims.

"Yes but oldbonds can rekindle." He says smirking.

"You... are disgusting! And you!" She says pointing at the girl. "Don't trust this man! Don't-"

"Shraddha that's enough." Jacqueline says pulling her away.

"Who was that?" Mum asks.

"Varun."

"An idiot."

"Umm Prem's twin brother." I say awkwardly.

"Well I sure hope Prem isnt like that!"

"He isn't!" I say.

"Oh well girls why don't we go home. Its been a long day."

We then all go home.

Jacqueline and I set up Alia and Shraddha's beds.

"Thank you guys so much again for letting us stay here with you guys. It would have been so boring at home." Alia says.

"Hey no prob. So does your dad go on trips a lot?" Jacqueline asks.

"Pretty much. And we thought there was somehing fishy. And then we called him and a girl answered his phone." Shraddha explains.

I gasp. "Oh my god! Do you think he's having an... affair?!"

"Who's having an affair?" Mum says walking in raising her eyebrows.

"Archie! We think he's cheating on Veronica! You know in Riverdale..."

(We do not really think that its just a reference😂😂 btw who watches Riverdale?)

"Youngsters and their television." Mum says shaking her head. "Anyway girls you should be getting to sleep now."

"Mum! We're 20! We dont have bedtimes anymore!"

"Just kidding. But because Alia and Shraddha are returning tomorrow I thought I'd make a feast brekkie to say bye."

"Oh Aunty you're so sweet." Alia says. "Will you come with us? I want my dad to meet the lovely woman who's been taking such good care of us."

"Of course." She smiles. "Night."

"Imagine if our parents fall in love tomorrow and get married and we become real sisters." I say.

"The thought of it." Shraddha says.

The next day...

Jacqueline's POV

I wake up first and first I do my bed then brush my teeth.

I freshen up when there's a knock at the door.

Who the hell is it?

I go down and open the door.

"You! What the hell are you doing here?!"

"How's it going?" Sidharth says striding in.

"Can you shush up?! You'll wake everyone up!"

"Okay okay."

"Now what are you doing here?"

"If you forgot we have that Chem project together. So lets do it together! I've brought everything." He says.

"You could have told me beforehand. Now go! I'm busy today!"

"But the projects due tomorrow."

"Oh shit!"

"Yeah I'm such a good partner right?"

"No you're the worst!"

"Jacq?" Mum says from upstairs.

"Hide! Hide in the closet! Now!"

"Who was that?"

"Ummm.."

Suddenly the doorbell rings again.

I open it.

"Hello is this where Shraddha and Alia are staying?"

"You're Shraddha and Alia's dad! Come in!"

"Meet my mum Aishwarya." I say.

"Nice to meet you - Aishwarya?!"

Does Shahrukh know Aishwarya? Will Sidharth cause more drama?
