Chapter Five

Varun's POV

"What?!" I exclaim responding to what my twin brother Prem just told me.

"Yeah she thought I was you when she talked to me about her mum..." he says.

He then gets his phone and puts it on speaker while dialling someone's number.

"Hello?" I hear Shraddha's voice.

"Umm Shraddha I just wanna say that it was me Prem who you talked to about your mum not Varun." He says.

"What?!" She exclaims.

"Yh...."

"Oh...thanks." She says.

"I'll let you know if I find out about her." He says.

"Ok." The call ends.

The next day....

I see Shraddha in town and she looks so pretty. I couldn't take my eyes off her.

I was about to approach her but I suddenly see Jacqueline, Taapsee, Alia and Jacqueline's mum with them.

Shraddha's POV

I call papa. I go to a side with Alia and a woman answers it.

"Hello?" She says.

"Alia." A guy waves to Alia.

"Di I'll be back later." She says and walks off with him.

"Who is this?" I ask.

"Kareena." She states. "Who is this?"

"Why are you answering someone else's phone?!" I ask annoyed.

"Is it Shraddha?" She asks.

"Where's my dad?" I get to the point.

"He's busy at the moment ill get him to call you back." She says.

"Umm thanks." I end the call.

Suddenly someone approaches me.

"Hey gorgeous." I see Varun and roll my eyes.

"Hey I thought we were friends." He says.

"Yeah...."

"How about I take you out for lunch?" He asks.

"How about no!"

"Okay maybe I can just give you company while you shop around?"

I sigh. "Fine."

"So Shraddhs what you been upto lately?"

"Nothing much. I've just been staying at Jacqueline's house because my Dad's away on a business trip." I casually say.

Jacqueline's POV

Taapsee, Mum and I go into select. I choose a jumpsuit to buy and Taapsee buys a dress. We go to pay but mum stops us.

"I'll buy it for you." She smiles getting out her wallet from her bag.

She opens her wallet and I notice a picture. I nudge Taapsee and point towards it. She becomes surprised just as I am.

"Who are those two other girls with mum in the picture?" Taapsee whispers.

"How am I supposed to know if you don't?!"

"Mum?" Taapsee says.

"Yeah?"

"Who are those two other girls in the picture?" We ask.

"Girls can we talk about this another time?" She says looking away.

"No mum tell us!" I protest.

"Are they related to us?" Taapsee questions.

"Yeah...."

"What are they our cousins?" I ask.

Shraddha's POV

I walk around town and Varun follows me. "Don't you have anything better to do?"

"No . By shopping with you I'll get to know how girls are." He smiles.

"Girls are really hard to please." I honestly say.

"Are you?"

"Not me particularly but I do like certain things." I state.

"Like?"

"I like guys who dress smart, have a great sense of humour and have a good heart."

He chuckles. "I have all those qualities. I may be your Mr Perfect."

I laugh.

I can see him stare at me weirdly.

"What are you staring at?" I ask.

"Nothing you just look more beautiful every time I see you." He says.

I flip my hair. "Well I do have amazing genes."

"Anyway prem told me that he's helping you with something."

"Yeah. Your brothers so nice why are you two so different?" I ask.

"I know I'm the better twin." He smirks.

"I think prem is." I argue.

"Oh really? Too bad he's taken by Taapsee. But I'm single." He grins.

"If prem was single I wouldn't mind going out with him but unfortunately he's not." I try wind Varun up.

He laughs.

"What's so funny?"

"You haven't met Prem properly."

I suddenly see the expression on his face change.

I was just about to say something but Varun suddenly pulls me closer to him.

"What are you do-"

Before I could complete my sentence he kisses me.

Will Aishwariya tell have and Taapsee about Alia and Shraddha? Who is Kareena? Why did Varun kiss Shraddha? How will she react?
