They pulled me out of the police car when we got to the department, rather harshly I might add. They shoved into a small chair a few feet away from a desk and told me to stay there until they say otherwise.

I was suddenly feeling embarrassed by my fuzzy pants and long sleeved t shirt that I wore as pajamas. Maybe it was because there was dried blood stained on them now. Or maybe because the woman at the desk was staring at me, probably expecting me to pull out a gun and make a run for it. Which I didn't do.

They came and got me about five minutes later and took me into another room. It had one table, a chair on either side of it and a mirror on every wall. I knew exactly which room I was in.

"State your full name." My interrogator said, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Alexandra Monica Everpin." I stated in a monotone. It amazes me how calm I am with the situation, maybe I'm going into shock.

"So you're a 17 year old white girl who goes to Radcliff High School?" He asked. I don't think he likes me very much. But to be fair he did just find me lying next to a body, covered in blood.

"I wouldn't have worded it like that, but yea." I responded, attempting to lighten the mood a bit. I could tell that my attempts were pointless when he furrowed his brows at me.

"Whose body was that? The one that you woke up next to."

"I have no idea. I've never seen her before in my life." I said truthfully. He seemed to believe me.

"Do you know any of her family members?" He asked showing me some pictures. There was a handsome man who was in their mid 20's. There were also two little kids, maybe ten, probably twins but one of them had a tiny mole on the right side of their upper lip.

"I've never met these people either." And with that they dragged me to a cell and locked the door behind me.

I saw the keys left on the desk in front of my cell. I knew that I needed to get out of there. So, I looked around the room for something that I could retrieve the keys with and settled for a cane that could possibly be in my reach. As I was just about to grab the cane, my fingertips on it, a police officer came by, making me retract my arm before I got caught.

"We can't formally arrest you yet because your fingerprints weren't on the body at all and we can't find a murder weapon. But we will find it and we will arrest you. And I will personally enjoy doing it you sicko." An officer said this to me while unlocking the door to my cell and dragging me out. "Consider yourself a major suspect in this investigation." He threw me down the steps at the front door, leaving me on the cold, wet road.

I waited until a minute after the officer went back inside and ran full speed into the woods on my right. I kept running until I knew that my feet wouldn't take me any further and collapsed onto the side of a tree, falling into a deep slumber.
