I was about to sneak out of the bathroom and into a random room to search for some acceptable clothes when I peeked my head out the door and say that he left an outfit for me in front of the bathroom door. Quite generous I might say.

As was getting dressed, I struggled to remember the boy's name. He had mentioned it through the midst of bumping into him, but I was drawing a blank. After a few more desperate fails at trying to remember his name, I sighed and left the bathroom.

When I finally found my way back to the living room, a tall well built figure stood in the kitchen, his back towards me. He was probably preparing me a meal. I cleared my throat so I could thank him and leave, but when he turned around he just stared wide eyed back at me. Granted I did look different than when I first went into the bathroom, but not that different, right?

When it was apparent that he wasn't going to stop staring at me for a while, I said "well, thank you for letting me take a shower. I think I'll just go now though." I headed towards the door until I heard the handsome teenager with the apparently deep voice, speak.

"I can't let you go anywhere. I found you in the woods, okay? Now, I don't know about you, but that screams for help to me." I wondered if his voice was always so monotone or that's just because of what he was saying right now. When I didn't say anything he continued, "look, I don't know you but you should stay here. My parents pretty much don't live here anymore, my older sister has gone off to college and she left a bunch of her clothes here. I can even get you enrolled in our school. Just... don't go back out there by yourself."

It was sweet how much he cared for my safety, but I still wasn't sure about this. I thought about it for a minute until I decided that this was my best chance at hiding. "Okay, thank you."

He seemed satisfied with my answer. "Great, now eat the sandwich." He said, putting a plate in front of me. He obviously understood that I was beyond hungry when I ate the entire sandwich in one bite. Despite this he just set a cup of water in front of me and watched as I chugged it all down. "What's your name?" he asked while I was still drinking.

I hadn't wanted to stop drinking the water, so I attempted to answer while chugging. So instead of saying Alex it came out as "Oleks." I didn't need people to recognize my name either.

"What?" He furrowed his brows in confusion. I quickly finished the water and answered his question.

"Alex."

"Nice to meet you, Alex. I'm Hunter."

Hunter. Nice name.

Hey guys what did you think of this chapter? I know that it's pretty short but I sorta wanted to end it with his name.
