Alex's POV:

Without wasting time, I ran into his open arms. He picked me up and twirled me around as content giggles left my mouth. He then put me down and wrapped his arms around my shoulders. My arms went around his waist and my face was against his chest, seeing that he was much taller than me. He leaned down to my ear and whispered, "I missed you, Mrs.Cuddles." I let out a sad chuckle.

About a year ago we went to the park that was right across from both of our houses. We sat in our tree and a few moments later, a couple sat on the ground below us. They kept calling each other really weird lovey-dovey names. One of them even said "My princess puppy food rose."

At that point we couldn't contain our laughter anymore. The couple looked up at us with bewildered expressions, but once they saw us, they glared and looked for a more private place to call each other ridiculous nicknames. Their glares just made us laugh even harder. It got to the point where Issac had to hunch over and hold his stomach, which made him fall out of the tree with a thud. I looked down and saw him groaning on the ground and I, being the great friend that I am, laughed even harder, if that was possible.

Anyways, after we stopped laughing we decided to mock them. I called him Mr.Cuddles, and being the most uncreative person ever, he called me Mrs. Cuddles. The nicknames just stuck from then on.

Tyler cleared his throat, letting us know that he was still there. I tried to pull away from Issac, but he pulled me even closer to his chest, letting me know that he wasn't planning on letting me go anytime soon. But one hard push later, he finally released me, I turned to Tyler with a sheepish smile on my lips. "Tyler this is Issac." I gestured to them as I said their names. Tyler glared at Issac and began looking him up and down, trying to figure him out.

Then he turned to me, his eyes narrowed. "What is he to you?"

"He's just a friend from home, Tyler." I assured him.

"I'll be in the next room. Scream if you need me." He gave me a quick look before he left, letting me know that he was serious about that last part. I smiled at his concern.

Grabbing Issac's hand, I pulled him to the couch and sat down next to him. He began speaking before I got the chance to.

"Tell me you didn't do it." I furrowed my brows in confusion. He sighed. "I couldn't get it out of my mind. Just tell me you didn't do it and I'll believe you, Mrs.Cuddles." My blood boiled at the accusation. So I did what any logical person would do in my position. I stood up and started yelling at him.

"You seriously think that I would do that?!" I scoffed and looked down at this face. "After all our years of friendship, that's who you think I am?" I huffed and crossed my arms.

He was surprisingly calm during my outburst. He then quickly stood up and held my elbows as he tried to look in my eye, despite my efforts to look away. He eventually caught my eye and didn't let me look away. Then he asked in a whisper "When did the angry fits start again?"

I covered my mouth with my hands in shock. I hadn't even realized that they had started again.

Before I left home, I would always get these random bursts of anger. I wouldn't even realize how mean and annoying I sounded until after the damage was done. That was partly why my only friend was Issac. That, and the fact that I just don't like people very much.

I hadn't realized that a tear fell until Issac brushed away the moisture with his thumb. I looked up at him and saw a look of sympathy. If it had been anyone else, I would've punched them for looking at me like that.

"I didn't even realize that they started again." I squeezed my eyes shut, letting all the tears spill. Issac wrapped his arms around and whispered soothing things in my ear. He always knew exactly what to do and say in these situations.

We stayed like that until the tears stopped flowing. Then I heard a different voice. "Okay, I know that I don't have the right to ask you this and that you don't have to tell me squat." He signed and sat down on the other side of me. "But what is going on, Alex?"

I looked towards Issac for some advice on what to do. But he just gave me a small nod and walked off into the room that Tyler was previously in. I then turned to Tyler, with nothing but fear in my eyes. I felt like I was suffocating and I didn't trust my voice, so I grabbed the remote and turned the TV on. Unfortunately, I'm still the biggest news story.

Tyler looked at me with his brows furrowed in confusion. I signed and began explaining. "She's me." He seemed to understand after that.

"So you left home because you murdered that woman?" He asked in disbelief, but his voice was calmer than I expected.

"I didn't kill her." I was seriously getting tired of saying that.

"Then what happened?"

"I don't know what happened, okay?! All I know is that I woke up with a dead women and bunch of blood. Then the next thing I knew the police threw me to the curb and basically said that they'd personal make sure that I rot in a jail cell."

I looked up at Tyler and was surprised when I didn't see a look of pity on his face or a look saying that he didn't believe my story. Instead, it was a look of pain. As though hearing my story make him hurt on the inside. This expression brought me to whisper the last part. "So I left home. I left and never looked back."
