It is now July 1st 2018 and this story is now called "Someday" with 3.3k reads, 255 votes, and 57 comments.
Thank you to the commenters, the voters, and the silent readers who have supported me while I wrote this story. You guys mean the world to me and I couldn't have finished it without you! Now a couple things to clear up:
1) There will be no sequel to Someday. I like how Alex and Tyler's story ended.
2) I have a story idea in mind which means that I will be starting a new story sometime soon.
