I climbed inside Hunter's car, not wanting to spend more time with him. I looked out the window and saw him approaching the car, taking long strides towards the drivers seat. When he finally got in, I felt butterflies fluttering in my stomach. I didn't know how to answer the question that he was wondering, that I was wondering. How did I do that?

As soon as he started the engine and drove off the school campus he asked the question that I was afraid he'd ask, "How did you do that?" When I didn't answer, he asked another question. "You're into gymnastics?"

"No, I've never done gymnastics before in my life! I have no idea how I knew what to do in there." I could tell that he felt betrayed that I didn't tell him about my non existent history with gymnastics. He thought that we were closer than that. Which we are, I hope. "Please believe me." I whispered, the thought of him feeling betrayed because of me made me feel nauseous.

"Sorry, about this morning. I thought that you were still in bed." This startled me. He was trying to change the subject. I hoped it was because it was apparent that I didn't know how I did that, not because he didn't believe me. I knew that he was about to say something embarrassing when his neck turned red. "You don't look bad, though."

I'm dead. Why would he ever say that to me? Was he trying to get closer to me by teasing me? Or was he just plain flirting with me? I'm reading way too much into this. He probably just said it as a joke, right?

"Hey, do you wanna go to a restaurant for dinner today? Like the diner that opened up across the street a few weeks ago?"

Wait, what? Did Hunter Pilsen just ask me out on a date?

Did he just ask her out on a date? Maybe. I'm sorry that this chapter is really short guys, it was a filler (sort of). So do you guys have any suggestions for me? It would mean the world to me if this story got a comment!
