Alex's POV:
I was being held in a private cell. I assumed it was because of the lack of prisoners in this town, there were enough for each person to get two cells. Unfortunately, the police don't care much for the people in the orange jumpsuits, which was understandable.

A few minutes later, two guards came and got me claiming that I had a visitor. Who would want to visit me? My father probably didn't want to see me and he wouldn't let my mother see me. Tyler was in custody, so who would want to see me?

When they brought to the visiting room, I wanted to run to my visitor and be engulfed in her warm arms, but I knew better. Besides, there was glass between us. I sat down in front of her and picked up the phone at the same time she did. I didn't miss the slight shaking of her hand as she brought the phone to her ear. "Grandma?" I whispered. "What are you doing here?"

"Well, I'm here for you, silly!" I could tell that she was trying her hardest not to cry as the tears welled up in her eyes. I didn't dare say a word about it.

We both stayed silent after that, just hearing each other breathing through the phones. I enjoyed her company, despite the big barrier of glass between us. Finally she spoke again. "How's your father? I've haven't talked to him in a while."

That made no sense, if she was in town then she would've stayed with my mother and father.

"Didn't you talk to Dad when you got to our house?"

She genuinely looked confused for a while until her expression morphed into one of shock and worry. "Your mother never told you, did she?"

"Told me what?"

"David Everpin was never your father. That's why he hates you and blames you for everything." Now it was my turn to be shocked. Her lips quirked up in a smirk. "Why do you think me and David always fight so much?"

I let everything sink in for a minute, then I asked the question that I was most afraid of. "Who's my father, then?"

"His name is John Pilsen." Wait, Pilsen? As in Hunter Pilsen?

Before I could voice my thoughts, the two guards came and got me. "It's time for your psych evaluation." The one of the left said to me.

They brought me down many hallways, to the depths of the prison, and stopped in front of a door to unlock it. I struggled to stifle my laughter at the guard who couldn't remember which key opened the door. Eventually, he found it, and we stepped inside. I was shocked to see Mr.Miller with a syringe at the far side of the room, next to cage that I assumed was for me. My guards guided me towards him and the pointed the syringe at my neck. I shied away from it and said, "What is that?"

He gave me a small smile. "Just something to help you sleep." He inserted the needle into my neck and I felt the liquid going into my bloodstream. For a few seconds, nothing happened. Then my eyelids suddenly felt heavy, my legs went limp, and I was enveloped into darkness.

Tyler's POV:
The psych evaluator rushed back into the interrogation room as quickly as he had rushed out, this time with a female at his side, a police uniform on her. Her name tag read "Miller," which I presumed to be her last name. They both looked out of breath and the officer was clutching onto the psych evaluator's arm. There was obviously something going on there.
