Hunter
We both got into my car and fastened our seat belts. I don't know why I asked her out on a date. She always saw me as a brother, as a friend. But I never did. I saw her first as someone who was broken and needed my help, so I helped her. I nursed her back to health. Then she started to show her personality and I loved it. She was beautiful, and I don't just mean her appearance. Her soul was good, it was perfect. The silence in the car was deafening. I felt like my heart was going to burst. She was staring out the window and I felt like she was slipping out of my hands. I miss her. I miss her laugh. Those little sarcastic comments she makes that drive me crazy.
"The rain is beautiful, isn't it?" She hummed in response. What was wrong with me? In all those romantic movies, whenever things are super awkward, people talk about the weather. I'm such an idiot.
When I couldn't think of anything else to say, I just stared at her. I just admired her from the drivers' seat. She didn't notice, she was looking out the window. She looked so beautiful, I can't believe that she's mine. Only, she's not mine, not yet anyway.
I heard a loud crash from Alex's side of the car. Her head was knocked back into the seat. The car was flying and landed upside down. Us inside.
I'm really sorry that this chapter is so short. It took me a long time to come up with what should happen next. They got into a car crash! They never made it to their date at the diner! OH NO!! I wonder what's gonna happen next!
