I had been living with Tyler for two days now and I've spent most of that time declining Hunter's calls and deleting his voicemails without listening to them. He can quite persistent when he wants to be. He has been trying nonstop to talk to me. At my locker, during class, after school as I walk to Maddy's car. And as more time passed, the more calls and voicemails I got. I tried my best to hide this from Tyler, but I think he's begun to notice.

In the short time that I've lived at Tyler's house, I've had more fun than I've had in months. I've laughed more than I had in months. We watched all the Disney movies that I hadn't watched yet or had forgotten about. Which, admittedly, was all of them. We also played a lot of games that allowed us to get to know each other and each other's values. We played Would You Rather, Truth or Dare, DFK, and we were playing two truths and a lie now. It was Tyler's turn.

"Okay, I got my three. Number one, I'm hot," he said, smirking. "Number two, I have an older sister that moved away. Number three, you find me irresistible." I laughed at this, making him frown but it eventually turned into a smile.

"Hmm. Number one." I said confidently.

His smirk returned as he said, "Nope, that one's true."

I mock gasped. "I never knew you had a sister."

It took him a while but when he figured out what I had implied, he pouted and put his hand to his heart. "That hurt, Alex." I laughed at his expression and he soon joined me. He actually looked really adorable, but I would never admit that to him. Soon enough we were both rolling on the ground laughing at what Tyler just did. We would have continued if my cell phone hadn't rung from the back pocket of my jeans.

Tyler tried to reach for it but I slapped his hand away. Pervert. I retrieved it and looked at the caller ID. Hunter Pilsen, of course. Leave it up to him to ruin a perfectly good day. Before I could press the red button to decline the call, Tyler stole the phone and answered it, putting it on speaker. I heard Hunter say "hello" repeatedly as Tyler mouthed something to me.

Talk to him.

I rolled my eyes and said "Hello," a bit of hostility in my voice. This earned a look from Tyler.

"Hello?" Hunter sounded relieved that I had finally responded to his calls. Now that I thought about it, I felt pretty bad about that. He wasn't asking much of me, just a little chat.

"What do you want, Hunter? I'm not exactly in the mood to talk." I really wasn't.

"Ok, I guess I won't be doing the whole "I'm sorry" speech then?" I rolled my eyes.

"If you don't get to the point fast, I'm gonna hang up."

"Ok, ok. I just wanted to let you know that someone came asking for you yesterday. I told him Tyler's address since you're probably staying there, right?" Was he trying to make me feel guilty?

"Is that it?"

"Yea, but I also wanted to tell you that I'm really so-" I didn't hear what he said after that because Tyler hung up before I could. He had a grin on his face that made me suspicious.

I gave into my curiosity and asked, "What?" His grin widened after that, I didn't think that was possible.

"Why, did Hunter think that you were staying here?" Oh. Now I get where he's going with this. But that didn't stop the blush that creeped up my spine and added color to my cheeks.

"I don't have to tell you." I said as I got up off of the floor and made my way to the kitchen to start on the dishes. Living with Tyler is actually much better than living with Hunter because he makes me work for it, which I appreciate. I still didn't have full control of my arm because I've been skipping physical therapy, but I have enough to wash some dishes. And let me tell you, Tyler piles his dishes in the sink. I think he purposefully uses a lot more dishes than he needs in order to make my job harder.

"Yes, you do. You live with me now, so you're gonna have to tell me sooner or later." He sat down and I heard the chair creak slightly under his weight.

"Hmm. How bout later then?" I put my hair in a messy bun and pulled up my sleeves, preparing to do an impossible task.

He didn't say anything after that. He just sat in his chair, watching me attentively. Finally my curiosity got the best of me again and I said "Why do you keep staring at me?" Without looking up from my task. He didn't respond. I could hear the chair scrape across the floor as he got up. I didn't dare look to see where he was going. Then I felt his warm breath against my neck.

"I like you even more when you're like this. Messy bun, cleaning my dirty dishes. Save this just for me." He whispered the last sentence, which made my cheeks turn a slight shade of red. Anything he says to me at this distance would make me blush. Seriously, he could tell me that he just murdered a puppy, cut it into pieces and flushed it down the toilet, and I would still turn a bright red.

I could see his arms go on either side of me. I overestimated how much distance would be between us because when I turned around, the tips of our noses were touching. But I couldn't pull away, and he simply chose not to. So, being the person that I am, I decided to ruin the moment.

"My parents have already seen this side of me. Sorry not sorry." He pulled away from me, and I went back to the dishes. Then he asked the question that I didn't expect to be asked for a long time.

"Speaking of your parents, you never talk about your home. Can you tell me about it?"

Hey I know that this is a lot later than I usually post and for that I am sorry. I apologize for my incompetence. So how'd you like this chapter?
