It was her secret to keep. Hers only. But she couldn't help boasting about it at school. Her friends would demand proof. And then she would try to cover it up. She would be distracted all the time. Giving no time to her friends. Until her friends fi...
Evena stepped out smelling like coconut, peaches and cream and fresh flowers. But for the Lake Dance, she still had nothing to wear. And no matter what, she just couldn't wear the Blue Moon's dress. It was too pink and was designed especially for the Blue Moon. Because only the Royals wore blue on that Festival. It was Pixie Tradition.
Evena cautiously opened Zemma's wardrobe and threw a paranoid look behind her. Then it hit her. Zemma had designed a dress just for the Lake Dance. Evena found it, neatly tucked in a box. She opened the lid carefully and there it was.
Evena slipped in to it carefully and tied the large golden sash in to a bow at the back. She brushed her hair and braided it. But it was still damp and too silky. Evena ran her finger's through the locks of blue silk on her head and smiled. Evena plucked a blue Iris with 3 striped of gold on the delicate petals and positioned it in her hair. Evena smiled and looked at her tan skin. Where she frowned at the hairs, and rubbed amounts of whitening cream on them so her white face and neck didn't look strange against her tanned arms.
Evena curiously looked at all the makeup Zemma had. Zemma looked just as pretty with it. And that was really saying something. Evena applied foundation and when she looked up, her face was alot whiter. It looked strange but as she rubbed it, it smudged. Evena groaned and then fixed up the smudge and left her face and neck whiter. She put on lipstick and got up from the dressing table.
Evena few out and gulped in the fresh air. She followed the trail of coloured lights to the lake dance, where pixies were laughing and smiling. She spotted Zemma and Cherry, and walked down the staircase. The large grand staircase before closing her eyes and looking up towards the sky. Soaking in the goodness and the melody playing and the relaxing drizzle of dying rain and the swirls of pixie purple and blue skies.
