They all stood formally and respectfully in front of the Queen. Evena's hair was done in a complicated pixie bun and she wore a lengthy blue layered leaf dress and had blue eyeshadow and black eyeliner on with the help of Zemma, she had also found blue gloves that matched the diamonds in her heavy earrings. Zemma and Cherry were both wearing the same things except Zemma in golds and yellows and Cherry in reds and deep pinks. Zemma had let her hair out with a waterfall down the left side of her head and Cherry, well as princess she didn't have to do much so her red hair was a simple braided rope down her back.

Evena tried not to wince or envy Cherry as Cherry and her mother embraced laughing. "My sweet flower, your beauty shines brighter than Savannah's," Queen Zinnia complimented as Cherry beamed. Her mother tucked a strand lock behind Cherry's ear and smiled. The pain in Evena's heart grew worse and more intense. "Inca? You see the thing is...." Cherry started and she gave the Queen the scoop. Zayne and Zemma filling in the holes.

Evena's eye's watering whenever Cherry and her mother spoke or did any thing. Queen Zinnia looked at Cherry and then looked at Evena. "Come dear Evena," The queen demanded softly and Evena came over. "Rest of you, leave the room," Queen Zinnia waved a hand and with a polite bow, they all left. Cherry hugged her friend one last time before leaving the room.

"Evena, is this all true?" Queen Zinnia looked in to her eyes. "Yes my Queen," she choked as tears fell down her cheeks. Queen Zinnia embraced her and Evena wished to be safe in her arms for the rest of her life. "I, think," the Queen started as she pulled away, "You must return." Looking at Evena's horrified face the Queen chuckled. "No, not like that! Evena, return home, see how it goes, maybe your mother changed, maybe she is worried, see how it goes, come back tomorrow in human times and then if it's bad, even a little bit, i will let you stay my dear," Evena's eyes lit up and she hugged the queen. "Thank you, so much!" she exclaimed. But Evena's smile fell, "But, i don't think she is that caring, when i leave for school she doesn't say goodbye, she doesn't miss me, she doesn't go in my room and love me and miss me and cry for me and she is never there for me," a fresh wave of tears started to fall.

"Give her one last chance. One more, That's all she deserves. Maybe she still cares. She did before. Maybe she loves you so much, but doesn't let it show because she is afraid to loose you. Like your father. And she can't bear your loss. Maybe she loves you too much."

"Maybe,"
