Evena tensed and shivered. She heard her mother enter the room. The door flung open so hard that Evena was sure the wall was dented. She heard screams and glass being shattered against the wall. Evena was sweating from fright. She was violently shaking and her breathing was becoming shallow. More glass. The wall's were surely broken by now. She heard kicks, shatters and her room being destroyed. Curses and screams. Evena tucked her shaking legs against her chest and whispered, "Please leave you filthy mother."

Evena was sure she had no more love left for her. Evena's heart was a black hole.  She hated herself, and her life and her mother. Evena was starting to worry, for her room. Courage was ever so slowly forming inside of her. And just as Evena shakily stood up, sweating, the door closed with a bang and she heard a long pause before a click of a key.

There was another sound. Evena froze. She could've sworn it was a sob. Her blood ran cold as she cautiously opened the door. If her mother was still in the room, Evena would surely die. 

She wrenched open the door and her heart stopped. Her eye's glassed over as they grew wide. Her body froze. She starting shaking and fell to her knees. A loud wail escaped her lips as she started sobbing at the mess of her room. Tears poured so heavily, her hands hit the ground in rage as her mouth opened and let out angry and hurt violent sobs. The kind of sadness when all of your files, documents and games get deleted. Or when you've been locked out of your phone forever. Or when you loose the project you saved online that you've been working on for 3 months a day before you need to present it.
