Evena stayed there for a moment, pondering: Should I go to the Queen, or confront my so-called mother?
She went with latter before Evena lost all her courage to face her. And if Evena got out of the house alive, she could go to Jay's house. There was no way she was returning here. That thought was a slap in the face. Evena's eyes crinkled with tears. By leaving this place, she was admitting that she was a loser and idiot for believing in fairies, and she was also letting go of the friends who were always there for her. And all her precious childhood memories, and the times she had been finally happy.
Evena held her ground for a minute, before deciding she would come back, and stay here. But Jay had been the most amazing friend in reality, she couldn't leave him behind.
Evena looked back and fro from the city and behind her in the forest, she couldn't leave any of these guys behind.
And that was the moment, Evena realised she wasn't alone.
