Evena halted near the creek. The air was warmer as summer was coming around. The sun was peeking of the horizon and kissed the back of her head as she stood up. She was back with her warm brown eyes. People say that brown eyes are plain and boring. But they are anything but that. They are beautiful warm and mysterious. Evena had inherited her father's eyes. And so when her father was alive and was at work on Saturdays (rarely) Evena and her happy mum would go shopping. 

Where people would question them. Her mum's beautiful green eyes, and her daughter's plain brown ones.
