"From who?" Evena questioned. She really was getting it until Zemma sighed loudly and said, "From herself Evena!" Then it hit her.

Evena stumbled back and Cherry caught her and gently made her sit on a chair. "It's hard but your mother is a vampire," Cherry stated blandly. "You guys are jumping to conclusions too fast!!" Evena demanded. No, her mother couldn't be a vampire. "There aren't any true obvious signs!! Her skin isn't pale! She doesn't have red lips!!" Evena cried. "Hush, Evena, there are many things make up can cover easily!" Zemma used a tone she never had before, of fright. "This means, you might have......" Cherry hesitated. "Vampire blood, BUT I NEVER HAD CRAVINGS!!!" Evena cried again. It was too much. Her mother? Killed her father? A vampire? A murderer? She? A vampire?

Evena started sobbing hysterically. "Evena stop! Your being a drama queen! This is hard for me to deal with as a Princess! I am strictly forbidden to have ANY connections of those from the Vampire Kingdom! We are sworn enemies! Imagine what would happen if my mother found out! Why do you think you live so far away from everyone! We keep a track of the closest vampires to us and keep a track on them. You look nothing like your stupid mother, there were no connections when we first met. Now there are!!" Cherry exclaimed in a tone she had never used before, frustration, hate and anger.

Evena shakily stood up but Zemma forced her back down. "It's true Evena," Zemma said in a hushed tone.  "Do you not know how much harder it would be on me? The daughter? You don't know what it's like Cherry! You're a princess! I have to face her every morning. And to think she's been violent and everything so she could protect me?? It doesn't work. Not at all. You don't know what it's like. And here you go raging on me! My mother is a vampire, not yours, Oh that's right, your mother is the Queen!" Evena stood up, and spat out to Cherry's horrified face and Zemma's shocked expression.

"Evena I'm sorry! It was a shock to me to!!" Cherry tried to hug Evena but Evena had too many emotions right now. Relief her mother didn't hate her, but a whole other bad ones: scared, annoyed, angered, confused, irritated and too many. Right then Zayne flew in to the door and stopped when he saw Evena's fuming face and Cherry's guilty one. "Um," Zemma started and Zayne cleared his throat. "Your majesty," Zayne dipped low. Evena focused her blue eyes on Zayne and glared. "What do you want?" she snapped. He flinched at her tone, "I'm here to take you to the picture in the forbidden wing of the castle?" he said nervously.

"We don't need that," Evena spat and flew at top speed out of the door. She heard Cherry's sobs and she knew Zemma was comforting her. Evena flew past guards who were going towards the Princess' sobs.

"Idiot," Evena muttered and sat down at her favourite place that over looked her house. And this time, she wasn't scared to confront her mother.
