With her bare arms around her body, she shivered in to the night. She walked forward until she reached the circle of toadstools. Evena closed her eyes shut and felt the atmosphere change around her. The wind became warm, the moon shone unnaturally bright and a tiny soothing chatter filled the scene. Evena opened her eyes and she was scared no more. The tiny homes were stuffed in to trees and the flowers bloomed bright. Tiny and large lights lit up the area.

And she was in Pixie Woods.

All the pixies were different but with some simple similarities: their sharp small noses, unusually large eyes, long pulled back pointy ears, delicate wings and their own special faint glow around them. Every pixie had a different glow. All the pixies were so used to having Evena around they didn't even notice her there. Until Cherry Blossom came. Cherry was the daughter of the queen of pixies, the princess. "Evena!" Cherry called as she rushed forward.

The pixies were about the size of Evena's pinkie, but the pixies could enlarge themselves whenever. But even at their biggest they only came up to Evena's nose. "Ahhh Cherry," Evena chattered. She was usually quiet, but around the pixies she could be whoever. "Ripes! Your cold as! What happened!" Cherry enlarged and hugged Evena as her guards and maids went to fetch Evena's own fairy clothes.

"The creek!" Evena cried in pain as blood seeped out of her wound. "Oh!" Cherry reached down and covered the wound with a bronze hand. Her sweet alizarin crimson coloured eyes looked up twinkling. Cherry was the most beautiful pixie. Her bronze skin made her alizarin crimson eyes stood out and her long wavy knee-length locks of oxblood coloured hair with Persian red highlights. Her short auburn dress complimented her Rossa Corsa coloured boots. Once Cherry took her hand off, the wound was sealed and healed and Evena released a small gasp despite the many times she had seen this.
