Evena hopped out and noticed her window had closed. A shiver ran through her and she froze, paranoid. She turned around and let out a breath when there was no one there. A tingling sensation in her hands started again. Evena wrapped herself in a towel and walked to the door. She twisted the handle but it wouldn't budge. Evena banged on the door but no one replied.
She heard the engine of a car roar and grow quieter. Panic rushed through Evena before it calmed. This was her mother's way of getting at her. Locking her up. Evena dried herself up and threw on some loose bottoms and a shirt. She couldn't possibly go to school. Evena picked up her phone and noticed a burned toast and cold tea next to it. Surprised, Evena ate it. It was disgusting, but will have to do. She was lucky her mum had even left her something.
Evena scrolled through her messages, well message since she only had Jay. Yup. He was on.
J: Eve? Where r u? It's 9:42am and ur mum's car still hasn't come
E: Soz, my mum locked me up
J: Haha, funny
E: Not joking, i went out to the forest last night and she caught me so..
J: Ouch, anyways i've been invited to this birthday party, Jacon's, well only because he asked me to fix his DJ set
E: And you want me to come?
J: Yeah, tho i would be hanging around my mates....
E: sorry
J: Please?
E: Fine, bye, cya whenever i get outta hell, when is it?
J: Tommorrow, 5pm to 10 or something. At his house: 45 Corino Street, Avendal
E: K bye
